Surviving An Apocalypse
Thanksgiving. It should be a time of giving thanks for the blessings in our lives, for the people that surround us and support us, and for the simplest of things. However, this year is bound to be a different kind of Thanksgiving as the world rests in the clutches of a pandemic. In the United States this year many people feel less thankful than ever before. Why wouldn't we feel this way? Take a look at what we've had to see and endure since the last holiday season.

BLACK ART
The truth about Blackness (especially in relativity to its White counterpart) has, maybe not always, but certainly in this authors research, "re-ce-nt-ly"- (said sarcastically and with the least bit of uncertainty) been shown as a "black stain" on the world. (Here "black stain" a reference to one conservative critic calling the above picture "noirceur" in a gallery review translating to "black stain".)

UBI (Universal Basic Income)
Universal Basic Income was a concept not known to many up until the last two years. Thanks to a certain unknown candidate in the democratic primary, UBI has been put in the forefront of his campaign. That candidate is not so unknown today and his name is Andrew Yang.

Why the UN Security Council is Fundamentally Flawed
On the 7th of July 2020, a resolution for humanitarian assistance in Syria was voted upon by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). But this resolution proved futile because it was vetoed by Russia and China, both permanent members of the UNSC. This was no surprise because Russia and China support the regime of Bashar-al-Assad (who has been accused of human right violations) in Syria and are suppliers of arms to the same.

Why I don't stand by Meghan's decision
Disclaimer: The opinions in this article are simply my own, I welcome a respectful exchange of ideas A few months ago, Harry and Meghan shocked the public when they announced they were resigning from royal duties and retiring to 'private life'. Because of this decision, they were in the line of fire of multiple tabloids. A lot of celebrities, American, especially, came to their defence and all criticism aimed at the Sussexes was labelled as racist or anti-liberal.

Now That The Election Is Over, What Do I Want To See Happen To Trump Supporters?
If you were paying any attention to the news (or, god forbid, reading comments sections and trawling through Twitter), you probably saw all kinds of bellowed promises from Trump supporters about what they were going to do to "the libs" once their guy won re-election. They were going to charge doctors who performed abortions with murder, assault anyone who protested, execute reporters live on-air, and the list went on and on. While you could argue that some of it was hyperbole, and a lot of it was just rage-induced fantasy from a vocal minority, the central theme of nearly every, single promise was that anyone who disagreed with them was going to be punished for their dissent. They would be silenced. They were, to use the common phrase, going to make us all cry.

OPINION | AMERICA IS TOO FREE TO STOP COVID-19
This is my second passionate rant about the attitudes of my fellow Americans whilst Covid snakes around us. I still feel the same way, just a little more married to my feelings now. The first few weeks of quarantine weren't so bad on account I had plenty of schoolwork to keep me busy. By the beginning of May, I was ordering pizzas for pick up just stretch my legs and talk to the clerks. They're very nice. As time moved along, my mind started to go twisty.

The State of Our Union!
Hello Everyone, My name is Dennis Vandusen-Torres and I am a 2024 Presidential Hopeful. I have no political experience and I do not have any political backing. But what I do have is a new Plan for America, one that the current leaders in Washington don't want. I have a plan that refuses to sweep the issues that plague this nation under the rug and together if We The People stand united we can fight these issues head-on!
