Many claim that video games should be heavily censored in order to protect the minds of children, even though they are exposed to graphic content in other art forms—for example, film. Still, many believe that the main difference between video games and any other medium is that when you play one, you have a direct effect on what will happen, while you only observe things when watching a movie. Now, the opinion that certain video games will make you want to behave violently is not a popular one among gamers, as most understand that developers make games in order to artistically express themselves and entertain the masses.
