Scariest Movie Monsters
We all can easily recognize Hollywood's biggest actors and actresses but none of them stand out in our minds the same way as the scariest movie monsters in cinema history. Movie monsters, like the Xenomorph from Alien or Crawlers from The Descent leave a lasting impression in our minds, and our nightmares. Not all movie monsters are created equal, however, some are able to haunt us for years after seeing them. The mere mention of certain movie monsters can cause chills to run down our spines as memories of their bone chilling actions come rushing back. Those are the monsters that have made it onto our list, the aliens, creatures, and beasts that make you want to sleep with the lights on at night. Their popularity isn’t much of a surprise, but more so that it took this long to catch on. Taboo TV That's Become Tolerable
It seems that almost anything goes on television these days. Words that warrant having your mouth washed out with soap, revealing outfits, subject matters that make you blush..it is all out there. Whether it is 11:00 in the morning or 11:00 at night, it doesn't seem to matter. Kids are being exposed to more inappropriate content than ever before and parents are at a loss. On January 1, 1997, the parental ratings went into effect. This was supposed to help monitor what your family could watch without the fear of being exposed to "bad" grown-up stuff. However, if you want your children to remain naive and innocent, the best thing to do is probably pop in a Sesame Street DVD or switch to their favorite DVRed kids show and hope for the best.
