Why Rabbits Make Fantastic Pets
First off, most people think rabbits are just outdoor pets, living in hutches and stroked maybe once or twice a day with playtime in runs when the weathers nice. This could not be further from the truth. Rabbits make fantastic pets, and they can live in the home and can be taught to use a litter box just like a kitten would be taught, although some bunny-proofing will need doing to avoid any much-loved items (or phone chargers) getting chewed to bits! They are intelligent and can grow to be very affectionate. They just need a little time to get to know their owner.

Tinky The Tiny Ferret
Hello there! I am here to tell you the many stories of Tinky's life. Tinky is approximately 1-year-old, and is a small ferret who has the energy of a thousand horses. She is my first ferret, and basically going into ownership with little to no experience in owning a ferret, I'm not entirely sure what I am to expect. Basically, this will be a log/story of the experiences gained by owning Tinky. So let's begin...

To the Grandmother I Never Knew...
You didn't know me, and I didn't know you. We were merely strangers that shared DNA. The saying blood runs deep is both true and yet, a lie. You see, I will never live without you, even though I did live without you. I will never forget you, though from day to day, you were like a whisper rather than an actual presence in my life.

The Sh*t They Don't Tell You: Lesson #4
Turds in the tub! My children are on an absurdly strict bedtime routine. (Thank you, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder!) You know, it's the typical dinner, bath, book and bed routine, but with a lot more anal retentive steps that I just can't NOT do! (My kids would never survive the night without the scrubbing behind their ears, or the weekly Monday wax removal, c'mon!)

Short Story: Memoir of Boonk Moonks
It all started on Eighth Avenue, Lower-East side of Manhattan, Hell’s Kitchen, apartment B-11. I was heading home from school. On my way home I would always stop by Pablo’s Hut to pick up my day-to-day paycheck. Two slices of pepperoni pizza. Financial instability would be one of the many words that I would use to describe my childhood.

My True #Metoo Story
My true #Metoo story has yet to be told. I have shared other experiences like having my bra snapped by boys at school, instances of male classmates grabbing my butt while making nasty comments about me, and guys whistling or catcalling at me from their cars. These I have expressed openly as many others can relate. Although, these moments were uncomfortable, it was still so much easier to share. When it comes to my deeper story though, I hesitate to type the words.

Deserted Playground
Ten o’clock in the morning is a lonely time for a playground. It doesn’t matter the time of year it is or what school schedules look like. It’s just not typically a time when children are out and about. My particular child has the need to get his sillies out at this particular time of day. It wasn’t that long ago this was nap time. This works out for me, too, because it is mid-morning when I find the day at its most brilliant. It’s a pity more people don’t get a chance to enjoy more beautiful spring mornings like this in such a way.
