10 Things To See On Kaua'i
I started visiting the island of Kauai back in 2011. I fell deeply in love with it immediately and decided to return as soon as I could possibly manage. Before I knew it, I was visiting 2–4 times a year, and becoming increasingly more depressed every time I left. My last vacation, I was traveling from Boston mid winter and I knew that I was going to need to make a serious change. A series of unfortunate events occurred the summer of 2014 and I decided it was time to move. I’ve been on island since. So that’s a little about me. Let’s talk about this beautiful island and what you should see while you’re here!!

Roaring Camp Railroad
If you are looking for a fun family adventure in the Santa Cruz area, look no further than the Roaring Camp Railroad. The adventure begins as you travel back in time to the old west. You arrive to the camp through a beautiful covered bridge. At the end of the bridge, there are many old buildings and artifacts that represent an era that many find adventurous, the Wild West.

Why Portugal
Few Americans have yet to discover Portugal. We went recently to visit my British family in Vila Nova de Milfontes in the South. Our journey started in Lisbon where we stayed in an apartment in the central part of Lisbon. Our airfares were inexpensive and our accommodations through Airbnb even more so (we never paid more than $100.00 a night).

Autumn is my favourite season, with spring a close second. Everyone or almost everyone, likes to jet off on holiday in the summer. But why not get away in the autumn when everything is less packed and places are bursting with colour? The Hidden Gems of Queensland's Coast
You may have heard of Whitsunday Island, Fraser Island or Airlie Beach, and these are all amazing places to visit on your trip to Queensland. But if you're after something a little less tourist-y, this is the trip for you. You don't need much - you can do this in a week, as long as you have a vehicle, somewhere to sleep (a tent will do) and a little patience. Google maps will help too!

Holiday Highlights 2017
In terms of travelling, 2017 has been an okay year for me. My main big holiday this year was the four day trip around Europe in July. I stayed at the Ibis hotel near Amsterdam Central Station and travelled around using the trains and buses and also by foot.

Review: Sofitel Hotel Corniche, Abu Dhabi
PackThePJs factored in a two-night stopover in Abu Dhabi on the way home from our recent holiday to the Maldives. This was easy to do as all our flights were on Etihad Airways. Using Booking.com we chose the Sofitel Hotel, on the Corniche, in Abu Dhabi. We’ve never stayed in Abu Dhabi before, so why did we choose this hotel? Well, the price was incredibly reasonable, it is rated 5 stars, and the family room we were offered was called the ‘Prestige Suite with Executive Lounge Access and Butler Service’. Hard not to be enticed, really!

Love to Travel? Don't Live in the Midwest, U.S.A.
The Midwest of the United States is gorgeous. There's rolling hills, green and gold fields, and you can see for miles around. We have attractions like Chicago, the Badlands, and Mount Rushmore. Other than that, though, we're pretty lacking in excitement.

Secret Canyon Trail
Lightening clashes with millions of jewel stars dotting the onyx night. With each flash the sky pales a white-yellow. Moments later the slowly creeping night clouds would groan so loudly the sound echoes off the red rock canyon. The storm remains flashing on all sides of the scarred earth, still hours yet to climb over the muli-colored mountains and encompass the valley. The night sky goes deep before us in our pocket of clearness, miles from any light pollution. From mysterious night to pale lightening, the stars battle for their majesty only to be blocked out moments later by a more brilliant flash of light.
