Westminster Abbey And Epic Humans
Not only do I get to travel all over the world, but, I get to work and visit epic humans. I'm going to introduce you to a couple of them today. I particularly LOVE this video of Leila Khan… Attempting to giving me a little bit of England's vast history here at Westminster Abbey! (And she's adorable!).

Awesome Annual Trip at Powell
Myself, my kids, and my friend took a trip to Lake Powell this season. The drive is 480 miles to Bullfrog Marina from my house. We left at 2:30 AM and was at Bullfrog Marina at 11 AM. When we go, we get a three bedroom modular home. These rooms are very nice, two bathrooms, full kitchen, they even provide a BBQ that you can use. And most important is air conditioning. It can get into the hundreds at Lake Powell.

Camping Cross Country and Why Your Family Will Love It
Camping is an excellent group activity. You can do it with your family, your partner, or friends who love nature. Camping is a great bonding experience between your camping partners, the outdoors, and yourself. Camping across the country takes this experience to another level. You get to enjoy nature in different environments. You visit places you might have been or not been before. Camping in different countries will allow you to see them differently. You will be observing their nature and outdoor environments seeing the good and the bad. You will see the countries you visit in a raw and intimate way. It is a rare and beautiful experience. You won't regret taking this trip whether you go with friends or family.

How to Find Climbing Partners
Finding the Perfect Climbing Partner: More Than Just a Belayer Finding a climbing partner is about much more than simply having someone to belay for you—it's about building trust, camaraderie, and a shared passion for the sport. My first climbing partner, whom I met through a class at Brooklyn Boulders, became a reliable companion for my early experiences. She was attentive and receptive, but as we navigated our schedules, I realized the challenge of finding additional like-minded climbers in my area.

Camping and Climbing at Greyrock
Greyrock is an obscure peak for climbing, but it is one of the more well-known hikes in the Northern Colorado area. It might be obscure, but this area has over 100 routes of great granite climbing. There is everything from slab, cracks from fingers to off-width, and moderate multi-pitch routes. The trail sees a lot of traffic during nice weather, but I have yet to run into any other climbers. The effort to reach this peak is out of the question for a lot of climbers who enjoy short approaches. For many climbers, being able to camp here makes the hike in worth it.

Paris by Night for Single Parents
Spending three nights in Paris with my then 12-year-old son gave me pause. While I'd always wanted to visit Paris for as long as I could remember, as a single parent, it's not as simple as taking a carefree, romantic getaway filled with wine and cheese and fancy dinners.

Buying Gear for Indoor Rock Climbing - What Is in My Gym Bag
If you're curious about what to bring to an indoor rock climbing gym, you’re in the right place. When I started climbing last year, I rented all my gear from the gym. It took time to find the right shoes and gear that worked best for my climbing level and could support my progress. To save you time and effort, here are some recommended climbing essentials to bring to the gym.
