How to Celebrate Michigan in the Winter
Michigan wears winter well. Our roads are among the worst in the nation, but dang is that snow pretty when it glistens in the sunlight. Snowmen, snow forts, snow angels, snow fights, snow and ice festivals...so many activities to enjoy!

Doing More to Get Customers in the Door
Is the dirty sixth living up to its name, or is rainy street just getting too crowded? Are the bars with live music too loud or do you need a change of scenery for your late night shenanigans? Many places around Austin are entertaining their customers differently than just cheap drinks and live bands.

Glacier National Park/Avalanche Lake: I Went for a Little Stroll in the Woods Yesterday
Let me start this out by saying that this is the first time in a long time that I have done any serious hikes with elevation. In fact, the last time that I did, I was maybe 5-years-old in Germany in the Swiss Alps.

Autumnal Paradise
Autumn is a time to reflect upon the quickly passing year, as the last few months draw in and come to a close, one by one. A time to reflect upon what we have done, what we still wish to do and how we have spent the last year, how we have behaved towards others, how we have spent our money, run our households, performed at our jobs and how we feel about ourselves in general.

Reasons Why Disneyland Is Bullsh*t

Do You Know Where Calgary Is?
When I travel, meeting people is inevitable. The conversation is usually broken up into little pieces to get to know each other and find some common ground. It is fun to hear where they are from, the country they grew up in, and how life can be a little different yet stay the same as we wander around this globe.

Electric Bikes Are Taking Over
Imagine you are in a new city sightseeing without a car like any typical tourist. You are walking in 90+ degrees and can no longer feel your feet. You still have a half mile to your destination and you just finished the last of your water. Then an electric scooter flies past you leaving only a gust of wind. You suddenly wish you were on one as well with your hair blowing and not a care in the world.
