Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal Hawa Mahal is a majestic-palace in Jaipur, the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 and was designed by architect Lal Chand Usta like a 'Rajmukut'. Its unique five-storey building, which is only one and a half feet wide from the top, looks like a beehive when viewed from outside, with 953 very beautiful and attractive small lattice windows, called jharokha. The basic spirit behind making these windows lattice was that the women of the royal family strictly followed the "purdah system" without anyone noticing. Can do In addition, due to the "Venturi effect", cold air is always coming inside the palace through these intricately structured lattice windows, due to which the palace always remains air-conditioned even in hot summers.

An unusually warm fall evening in Montreal; her plane touched down, and the anxiousness began to grow inside her. "How will we feel when we see each other?" "Will it be awkward? Will it be love at first sight?" All of the questions ran through her mind as she was sitting, waiting to disembark the plane and reunite with a long, lost friend.

Sundial Bridge: An Architectural Gem with an Uncommon Design
I stood mesmerized by the sleek, slanted, gleaming white column brightly lit by the evening sun against the clear blue sky. The cables tying the column to where I was standing, a pedestrian bridge across the Sacramento River in Redding, California with translucent glass panels for the deck, made it all the more intriguing and aesthetically pleasing.

A Chicago Coloring Book
Chicago is grey - salt mixture on the streets, the cars, your shoes. Corrosive, it does you good one way and destroys you in another. Grey is a Chicago winter. It’s the slush in the gutters, cold like the thousands who walk past the homeless Vietnam Veteran on Michigan Ave without acknowledging his existence. Silver are the CTA trains, enabling people’s lives like hemoglobin through our veins. Metallic grey are the skyscrapers in all directions reflecting off the Bean. But, just like the Bean’s distorted reflection, the grey of Chicago is only a fog that cloaks everything in bleakness. Beyond the grey are brilliant hues – blue and green and yellow and black and red.

Brush Strokes
Have you ever stood in front of a painted canvas and truly contemplated the depth of each and every brush stroke? I have. I’ve stood in front of and absorbed exquisite one-of-a-kind masterpieces in various museums. I’ve curiously compared reproductions of paintings locally with a personal twist. Either way, there is something inherently magical and unique in every creation. The colors chosen. The texture. The individual and the collective strokes. Witnessing the finished design and pondering whether its existence was planned, or not. There is something multi-dimensional and otherworldly available in taking the time to absorb and truly appreciate every tiny detail and the visual story the tapestry of paint creates.
