Life
A Bench of Autumn Memories
An unassuming seat was located in the center of Central Park, hidden by a cascading canopy of golden leaves that whispered autumnal secrets. Its iron armrests had worn over time, and its hardwood slats carried the stains of countless seasons. Jordan, a vibrant septuagenarian with a heart full of memories, however, saw it as a haven of peace and a treasured memento of her life.

SMOKED MIRRORS
Once upon a time, in a small village tucked away in the midst of towering mountains, there lived a young girl named Luna. Luna was known for her piercing blue eyes that sparkled like the night sky, but what made her truly unique was her ability to see through the thickest layers of deception. She possessed an extraordinary talent for uncovering hidden truths and exposing the lies that others tried so desperately to keep hidden.

The Mural
The Mural “Tomorrow I’ll be gone.” Now, laying here in this half empty bed, I keep hearing those words. I didn’t want to accept them and I didn’t want to believe you meant it. It’s not like we haven’t had this conversation before, but it’s us. And this can’t be us.

The Weight Of Silence
In the small town of Veritas, nestled deep within the rolling hills of an idyllic countryside, a profound silence reigned. Veritas was not just any town; it was a town with a secret, a secret that had been buried for generations. In Veritas, the saying went, “All truth is good to know, but not all truth is good to say.”

Acquiescing to Colour: An Anthem
Sometimes, just before I fully sink into the deliciousness of sleep, as I hover on the moistened lip of unconsciousness, I see myself creating the world’s next literary masterpiece. In this vision, I am in a well-lit room, and strewn all over the room are myriad supplies: books, pens, notepads, figuratively epicentred by my confident vision and literally by a standing desk. The world’s next literary masterpiece will be a novel, as much a coming-of-age story as it is a coming-of-art.

Digging Up Chapters and Short Stories
One of my favorite poets of all time is the winner of the Noel Prize in Literature (1995) Irish Literary Legend, Seamus Heaney. Whereas another great legend Ted Hughes wrote the poem 'The Thought Fox' to describe how he goes about writing a poem, Heaney wrote the poem 'Digging' to describe his choice to be a poet, instead of following his father's footsteps, digging for peat in an Irish bog.
