The Book of Questions
Gregory Stock’s The Book of Questions prompts — If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be? In what ways will you treat (or have you treated) your children differently from the way you were treated? If you’ve already raised children and could do it again, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?

The Heroes/villains Journey
The Hero’s Journey is a precocious one. For if one is not careful one will end the journey as the villain. Most villains see themselves the hero. They start with good intentions and build their road towards a noble goal. Yet somewhere down the path obsession, greed, love of power, or righteousness sets in.

A Funny Story About Typos
If you know me at all, you know I am a huge fan of Terry Pratchett, mayherestinpeace. If you aren't familiar, he wrote the Discworld series. "Series" is a bit of a misnomer, because each of the 41 novels can be enjoyed on its own, as a stand-alone story. (You can read them in any order, but most fans agree not to start with the first one, The Colour of Magic.)

Just a black pen and paper
Back in 2014... I don’t even want to recall that horrible state, but it was a part of me. I suffered from depression and mental trauma. I know it sounds strange to say that about a 6-year-old, but it is what it is. My family has always loved me dearly; of course, I’m the youngest. I’m Papa’s favorite child, his best friend. Mama? She’s always given me the kind of love that doesn’t even match the idea of a "middle child"; it’s love at its peak. As for my siblings, they’ve always been a little jealous of me… but never unkind. I’d still get treats and special attention, like any youngest child would.

Searching for Love
The more I have to lose… the more I worry. I suppose I’ve always been this way. Of course no one wants to get hurt, loss things that matter or feel let down. But lately I have been really contemplating how bad my rejection sensitivity can be. To the point where I have made up things in my head that have to match my reality for me to realistically ever make a great connection. And as I start to wonder about taking chances in life and really focusing on things I want and how to get there…. Well… the sensitivity comes back in grand force.

Why Journaling with a Timer Improved My Writing
When I first started my writing career over twenty years ago, I learned pretty fast that I had a lot to learn. My writing, although it was kind of good, felt a little juvenile at times. Especially now as I look back on it.
