Nature Poetry Contest Winners
This is my eighth year of hosting a Poem a Day in February. During this month there are four contests. We held a rhyming and rhyming haiku contest the first week and a best Valentine poem/rhyme for week two. And for week three we looked for passion poems/rhymes.

My Husband Is A Poet
As I sat down to write tonight, I was telling my husband that I needed to write and didn't much feel like it. I was surprised as I have 9 days left of this month. If I am already running out of steam, what will happen to my writing for the next week?

What Are You Passionate About?
Basics of Pantoum: Any length, composed of four-line stanzas in which each stanza's second and fourth lines serve as the next stanza's first and third lines. The last line of a pantoum is often the same as the first. The basic form of the pantoum is a quatrain with an abab rhyme scheme. Each line contains between eight and twelve syllables. (ab) has no immediate logical or narrative connection with the second pair of lines (ab). The pantoum is sung very slowly according to a fixed rhythm. Adapted from Bing or Goggle
