Journey to New Earth
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. I could push anyone out of this ship into space and no screams would emerge from their mouths. Silence would be all they would hear as space consumed their lives. My head cocked to the side as I stared at the pods in front of me, imagining all the ways they could end. It may be morbid or cruel, but these people represented everything I couldn’t stand. They were all sleeping peacefully, awaiting the day they would finally awaken in their new home. Their new galaxy. It wouldn’t be my home; it was never intended to be mine. Nor any of the caretakers. We weren’t wealthy enough to pay for a pod. We were hired to be servants, forced to care for those in the pods for generations.

10 Interesting Unsolved Cases
1. The Beaumont Children The disappearance of the Beaumont children is one of Australia's biggest unsolved mysteries. On 26 January 1966, Australia was celebrating Australia Day. The Beaumont children (Jane, 9, Arnna, 7 and Grant, 4) asked to go to Glenelg Beach in Adelaide. It was too hot to walk, so their mother gave them some money to catch the short bus ride there and back. They left around 8:45am and were expected to be home by noon, however by 3pm they still weren't home. Their father, Jim, immediately drove to the crowded beach when he got home early, but the children were nowhere to be seen. By 5:30pm the three children were still missing and Jim, with his wife Nancy, went to the police station to report the children missing.

Summer By The Pool
I let out a sigh as my feet dangled in the cool water. The sun was bearing down on me, creating beads of sweat along my forehead. I glanced up at the clear, blue sky and pulled my hat tighter around my head. The sun was strong and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Perfection.

His last meal before he was executed via lethal injection was a combination of strange requests. A bucket of KFC chicken, 12 fried shrimp and an entire pound of strawberries.
