October 26, 1984 A sphere of chronal energy formed then dissipated, leaving behind a bent-over naked man. Bloody time travel and its constraints. He stood, dropping the clothes and other items he had brought with him. He dressed in his armor-plated clothing and then put on the holster and pistol, then finally threw on a trenchcoat, hiding the pistol. He then grabbed the monocle and fitted it over his right eye. He sighed, feeling much more comfortable. It sure would be nice to time travel fully dressed. Howard MNM walked off into the night.

The pirate ship Coronado needed a miracle and soon. A storm was beginning to brew, but it wasn’t the biggest problem: The ship following the pirate ship was. The HMS Swansea would normally be faster, but its rigging had been damaged in the fight with the Coronado and was slowing it down; the fight had been recent enough that some among the crew of both ships had ringing ears from the cannon fire; he grinned as he remembered the fire from the cannons. My ears are still ringing from the sound! However, the ship chasing was hardly limping and would soon catch the ship running, especially as repairs were being done in transit.

What Would You Do For a Gallon of Sweetened Tea?
A tanna tree has been destroyed and, for the sake of my continued existence, I must plant another as soon as possible. For one of my age, tanna leaves make the only tea worth drinking. They filter the mana of the world into a product that can provide the sole sustenance that succors me. Made into a tea, sweetened just a little, it can make for a delightful afternoon drink, more than suitable for drinking by the pool in the bright noonday sun. After a few hours of recharging both body and soul, I can better refresh my mind in pursuit of my studies.

It started with a knock. Kevin heard three raps on the door of the frat house and opened it. A corpse stood there waiting for him. Before he could respond, the corpse’s hand reached out for him. Tissue died where the hand touched Kevin, and the corruption spread quickly. In heartbeats, Kevin had lost his, replaced by cold, unfeeling flesh. He turned around and sought out doors within the house. The other corpse joined him. Within minutes the number of zombies had increased; as his frat brothers answered their doors, they were likewise taken and turned.

And his pants are nowhere to be seen. He smirked to himself; some people would pay decent money for the privilege of being where he was now. The scrawny kid from the docks of an oriental port wouldn’t mind trading places with one of those well-fed lordlings right about now.

This was not the usual dive bar he was used to meeting her; the tables here were clean and there were people actually waiting on the customers. He had problems cutting through the curry in the air, but it was a welcome change from the smoke and cheap booze he generally associated with Sal's usual watering hole.
