The Night of the Lizard Man
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. Then Matthew, with a displeasing and painful voice, "Come on dad! Not another scary story!" "Well son, I will wait until later tonight because the night has to set in and really give tone to the story I'm about to tell you!" I replied as my eye locked on the cabin with the burning candle light. As if no one took notice, or didn't want to because everyone was worried about getting settled in after a long trip of unscheduled delays.

If the World was Perfect!
There is not a time that goes by and I don't want to call you. However, there you are in the middle of life and no matter how much I want to fit in and be there with you, I have to let the process of trust carry you to the next moment and pray that your thoughts would be on me. Somehow the dynamics of life has us both hesitant to make a move. Fear of disappointment and geographical boundaries set our thoughts on what could be, but what isn't.

Maverick
Let me start by saying if you are not familiar with Penny, you might want to see Top Gun first! I can go on and on about this film, which was the perfect compliment to the 80s original classic and TGM did an awesome job of mixing the past classic while being current in modern times. I'll try not to spoil the movie as I run through my likes and even the very little dislikes that I had for TGM.

When She finds Superman!
The preference of most women today has a bunch of men wondering. Yes, it is a woman's right to choose and no one can change that by a longshot. However, the common desire of the average woman which has been tainted by materialism and social media, has the everyday man thinking is it worth the effort. We all know the shallow basic requirements that a man has to have in order to catch the everyday woman. The height, bank account, being good in bed are the common features today and not to mention the other 20 bullet point items that are a "must" have in a man. Very similar to visiting an auto maker online and building your car to cater your needs. Unfortunately, men aren't made on demand like that. So, the question on the floor: Why do women think they deserve a top tier man that is in the upper percentile on the social ladder?

Should you Know My Thoughts
The every day common crush over a beautiful woman could go away in time if she is out of sight. Well at least that is the thought, but can we call it a common crush if he cannot seem to shake the very thought of her after time has passed without her in his close presence?

Renee
This one goes out to all the ladies that can ease the man's mind by way of just general conversation. Her talk so smooth she gives your heart a certain gravitation without the means of any serious relation. She can talk about anything from family to job politics, just to vibe with her makes everything click. Respect her mad flavor and her laid back ways, often dreamed about her at work of us walking on smooth sand and listening to waves.

Understanding People
After years of personal experiences and second-hand stories, my understanding of people has increased significantly. I will dare to say that I am perfect when it comes to understanding others, but my great deal of respect for their personal reality on life situations has increased my IQ. Again, I can only offer my opinion in what I am about to display, so I hope that you will be able to take this and grow to be a better you.

The "Conditional Standard"
The dooming statement made by an unwise lady so many years ago, can be so true, but so damaging to all parties involved at the same time. A woman has a right to change her prerogative and there is no argument there at all. The damaging part comes normally in most cases, it is when the woman is not getting her way after a man has met her conditions. Now I am not speaking to the sense of a woman's body, because no one has a right to touch a person under any circumstances. So, let's set the record straight and let me go on record by saying no one can treat you like property. Now some of the analogies that I will mention will reference to property. Also, this might help the reader to understand that when making demands and holding standards (to some degree) causes us to treat people like property and we don't even realize it. Now I can only stress my experiences from the heterosexual male aspect, and I am not devaluing the viewpoints of any other individuals.

3 Reasons
It was a calm August night and dinner was about to be served. Monday seemed kind of slow and the day was long. Seeing her face game peace to the day, as the past few hours has been everything but gentle to Jay. The restaurant was calm with a slight noise and the only thing he disliked, was that she had on another pair of Jordans. Being a Bad Boyz Pistons fan, Jay would always cringe at the sight of Michael Jordan. Nonetheless, he quietly thought that if she wore multiple pairs of Jordans and this was his only complaint about her; the look on his face would explain the continues joy.

Settling might be what You Needed
Ok, I might be the unpopular one for this piece, but someone had to tell it like it is! This is not for an age limit, or age specific group; this goes for all ages because life is too short. I often hear people saying that they will not settle for anything. Everyone wants the "turn-key" project person, ready to go as if they are brand new. "BANANAS"! Now let's take out the top one percent, because I address the everyday common person. Unfortunately, I see a bunch of common people (no pun), holding out and waiting for that "one-percenter" to sweep them off their feet. Some of us rather work on a degree and get in debt, with the chances of a corporation letting us go years after dedicated employment or pass us over for promotion; than to build a future and a business with a potential loved one.
