Even when you leave the borough of Manhattan behind and head into Brooklyn you can still see the incredible Manhattan skyline from many points in Brooklyn. This is the borough where I was born and raised, and often, as I daydream I set off on Brooklyn roads and return there in my mind.

Beyond Queens, there are also the suburbs of Long Island with lovely beaches. Let’s begin with Manhattan, and then I will write about the other boroughs with links to each.

I still remember waking and crying in the dark of night, then a light glowed, and a loving face looked over me and what a comfort that was for me.
