Trying Not to Judge a Movie by It's Trailer #GhostbustersFrozenEmpire
Why do I hate the trailer for Ghostbusters Frozen Empire? I love Ghostbusters. I have enjoyed every Ghostbusters movie to varying degrees. I was excited for and really enjoyed the all female, cast alt-universe Ghostbusters movie, and I adored Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, especially the tributes to Reitman's dad, director Ivan Reitman, and to writer and star Harold Ramis. The first Ghostbusters from 1984 is a big part of why I ended up dedicating most of my life to writing about and loving movies.

My ax in hand I snuck away from my modest cabin seeking my fortune. While the lush greenery that stood before me could render a fortune, the best and brightest of this woods are picked over. No, I need my own claim, my own forest and I have found one, one that is not on any map. Miles from my home, I will venture deep and with my ax in hand, the my fortune I will make.

The Long Walk
How will they react? Will they break down in tears? Scream and yell? Find a place of relief or comfort? You can't predict it. No matter how many times I've done this in my 25 years of work; I never know how they will react to what I am about to tell them. Am I about to shatter their lives or give them closure, or both?
