The Giver is a great book set in a dystopian future where everyone is forced to act the same and sees in black and white. The Giver eventually gives a young boy his memories from before everything was the same. The boy revolts and wants freedom to finally be different.

The poems of a Prolific Persian writer and Sufi mystic, Rumi. With couplet poems, this man changed the world and influenced the Muslim religion. Rumi only wanted us to transcend our physical world and finally reunite with the Divine God, and his work is the stepping stone to do that.

The Sandman Volume 10 - "The Wake"
The overarching storyline of The Sandman ends with the "death" of Dream of the Eternals (but I thought he was a brother to Death herself?), even though he is still undeniably present as a white, ghostly figure. Various characters, Cain and Abel, Superman and Batman, mythological gods such as the cat-headed Bast, and Wesley Dodd, the original "Sandman" from the "Golden Age of Comix" all come forward to deliver eulogies. Even Dream's ex-lovers appear in this Dreaming, having been pulled in the beginning of the book.
