Why Automation Could Result In Mass Unemployment
As technology races ahead, many Americans will be left behind as emerging technology, such as automation, replaces jobs and causes mass unemployment in both developed and undeveloped countries. While automation has the potential to dramatically transform the world, governments should look into ways to minimize a few concerning effects of automation. Millions could lose their jobs, mental health and poverty could worsen, and income inequality will rise.

Machines: The Future of Caring
The demand for caregiving has increased within the United Kingdom and Europe, with businesses ready to capitalise. The fastest population growth in the United Kingdom, is of people aged 65 plus. In 2019 there were 12.4 million people in this age bracket. More than 18% of the entire UK population. Research in adult social care suggests that the amount of people aged 85 years and older will almost triple within the next twenty years.

A Look into the Future - Year 2050
Have you ever wondered what the world will be like in the future with mankind developing new technology faster than ever before? It's likely our world will be completely different in the next 20 or 30 years than what it is now in today's blog we're going to take a deeper look into some of the new and exciting technology that is expected to be released in the next few decades and maybe get a glimpse into what our world could look like in the year 2050. Let's start with the one that's probably on the top of everyone's future bucket list which is space tours and travel have you ever imagined. What it would be like to travel to space well in 2050 might be possible according to a business insider. Space tourism could happen by then with rocket companies like Elon Musk SpaceX and Jeff Bezos blue origin. We could see the beginning of space tours being made available to the general public how cool would that be you won't have to train your entire life to be an astronaut in the future. You could book a space holiday as easily as buying a plane ticket. It will most likely cost a fortune for one of those interstellar seats and unfortunately will only be affordable for the super-rich. So if you want to travel through space you better start saving now. There's also the possibility of colonizing other planets Elon Musk for example is working on a project that could see the first human settlement begin in the next 10 years. Although it will take a very long time before it becomes liveable for the general population as mars has a very cold climate and no oxygen we would most likely need to build small contained ecosystems that can reduce oxygen for us to breathe but it's still pretty exciting to think that we could be in the first generation human space travelers.

The Immaculate
Death wrapped her greedy fingers around Don Lombardi’s throat on a steamy summer night. Detective Jenna Johnson strode past the weeping and wailing of what she assumed was her victim’s next of kin. She stopped and took in the crime scene. Lombardi was sprawled in a chair at the head of a large table laden with a bounty of food and shining silver. The walls were lined with what Jenna identified as historic oil paintings. A scrolling iron chandelier lit the room. The space didn’t whisper, but screamed wealth. Don had spent five decades wheeling deals and trading precious commodities to build his fortune.

Will We Ever Return to Normal? Or, Is This The New Normal? If So, Will There Be a New New Normal Tomorrow?
The Pandemic has left indelible scars on all of us. Right from our working models to our living arrangements, there is no sphere of life that has been left untouched. Whether it be financial, emotional, psychological, or physiological, the effects of the Pandemic linger. Some of us lost our loved ones. Others suffered from not knowing when this nightmare would end. Be it the layperson or the most powerful men and women in the world, Covid has been a Great Leveler. Moreover, there is no certainty when we would resume our "normal" lives and more importantly, whether this is the New Normal wherein we live precariously not knowing if any of the Delta and Kappa variants would wreak havoc yet again.

Seeing is NOT believing
This phenomenon may enable us to see multiple versions of the same thing. That’s right, we can see the same exact thing, in several very different ways. While this has actually been known for several decades, only now do we have an exact, concise mathematical expression to prove it.

Tina the Goat
(Read after my story, Lady M and before Gobby Blank) Tina, the goat, was glad to be alive and eating grass. She grazed around the burned-out remnants of the house where her people once lived and wondered where they'd gone. She saw the old barn was still intact, and a wave of comfort washed over her. The bad people hadn't touched the barn.

The Invo
“Only one Invo has ever escaped, and some Sailors say that particular Invo ran away only to avoid another evening with you, Commander Jensen.” Mary felt her blood rising as the chorus of male laughter came from around the table. She had to hold her tongue – this was the Exec Council, the club of captains that ran Foster City, the old boy club that outranked her and mocked her orientation openly. She didn't recall it being this bad before maternity leave, maybe she was just more sensitive now. Her life partner Liz was the only other female officer on the Exec Council. They knew they were tolerated in this group only because they were competent.
