'Death Note' on Netflix
The hubby and I finally sat down to watch the new Death Note movie on Netflix. We had our doubts, but had planned on watching it the moment we realized it was released. It seemed like it could be a good movie. It really did. After all, I had been eyeing the anime for months. So, a movie had potential.

Playwrights vs. Directors
I blame the cinema for one of the more annoying problems in live theater today. Films are created in a unique way. Someone writes a script and sells it to a producer. The producer turns the script over to a director, who hires the actors, and makes the film.
