The Last Laugh: How the Joker Became Hollywood’s Most Dangerous Role
There’s something strange about the Joker. Not just the smeared smile, the purple suit, or the twisted punchlines. The real mystery is why playing this role — a fictional clown from Gotham — has such a powerful and sometimes dangerous effect on the actors who take it on.

David Corenswet lives in a world made of cardboard
Recently, I've had the opportunity to watch the newest Superman in theaters. I absolutely loved it. I'm eternally grateful for Gunn reminding the world what exactly being punk rock is and how we all need to be a little more punk rock. Now this is not a critique on the movie, but an opportunity moving forward as well as a slight character analysis of David's Superman relative to every other live-action version we've seen in length so far. Spoiler alert for those reading who have yet to see the film or are waiting on the digital release.

Love Hurts Review: A Realtor’s Past Comes Knocking
If you missed Love Hurts during its initial run, you’re not alone—many viewers in India never got a theatrical release. The film is now available to stream in Hindi, and I finally caught up with it. On paper, it’s a familiar setup: a seemingly ordinary man with a not-so-ordinary past is forced back into violence when trouble shows up at his door. The twist here is the lead character’s new life as a successful realtor, which the film uses for humor and tension before the façade cracks.

The Gold River Myth: A Sled Dog’s Journey From Spoiled Pet to Pack Leader
Two centuries ago, whispers spread across the northern frontier: on the far side of Canada’s forests flowed a fabled “Gold River,” its bed swollen with wealth beyond imagination. Prospectors poured into the wilderness chasing that promise. Many brought sleds without wheels—pulled not by engines, but by dogs. Most never found the river. What they did find was a land that tested character as fiercely as it tested strength.

Don’t Tell Me How to Feel About Hulk Hogan’s Death.
Wrestling with the Legacy of Hulk Hogan as a Black Fan I didn’t expect to feel anything when I heard Hulk Hogan had passed away two weeks ago, But I did. Not sadness. Not relief. Just… conflicted. As a Black man, that reaction in itself feels like a story. One I’m still unpacking. One I’m not sure how I’m “supposed” to tell, but here I am — telling it anyway.
