'The Walking Dead': How Will Rick and Negan Resolve Their Differences in The Mid-Season Finale?
The latest episode of The Walking Dead, "Sing Me A Song" was quite memorable in the least. Between seeing Negan exhibit some humanity towards an unexpected guest and Negan using a hot iron to burn one of the Saviors' face, there were several instances of The Walking Dead comics being mirrored on-screen in "Sing Me A Song". Apart from Negan's outlandish mannerisms in tonight's episode, it was his interactions with Carl that were of more interest.

While you might think that exorcism is only the stuff of horror films like Brad Peyton's #Incarnate — in which Aaron Eckhart stars as Dr. Seth Ember, literally going inside the minds of others to banish their demons, Inception- and The Cell-style, but keeps his methods from the public — "real" exorcisms are very much keeping people awake at night. Dubbed the "Pope Francis effect," thanks to the leader of the Catholic Church's constant talk of evil and exorcisms, many people no longer consider demonic possession a superstition.

Its' Not Easy Being Mean: Songwriter Loves That 'Easy Street' Was Used To Torture Daryl On 'The Walking Dead'!
It is a method I have used before — turning my speakers to the wall at 2am and blaring out S Club 7 as a way to torture my housemate. Now it appears that the lyrical version of waterboarding has made it into mainstream TV in Season 7 of #TheWalkingDead, which unfortunately meant that the season's third outing, "The Cell," saw things looking pretty bleak for Daryl Dixon.

It's the sizzle of burning flesh on #TheWalkingDead horizon: but just who could be facing a light steam and press? #DarylDixon may well be in the "ironing" line as everything is looking a little grim for our resident Hell's Angel. Was Season 7 of 'The Walking Dead' Supposed to Go in a Completely Different Direction?
After last week's Season 7 premiere, the violent spectacle that is The Walking Dead reached new heights in killing off two major characters on the series, Abraham and Glenn. By depicting the execution of two fan-favorite characters, fans were left in shock and awe. Both deaths were already expected to take place but no one imagined Glenn and Abraham's death would be depicted in such a brutal manner.

Suffering
Here he was, not asking for much, but asking for enough. It had been a lifetime since he set about starting his career. But yes, here he was, some 40 years later, just now reaching the end of the beginning. He heard the clack of the clock as it echoed in his ears. Each second ticked by with more urgency than the one prior. It was deafening. It was crushing. It brought to his view the dance of the young and joyful, still full of life. He wanted to murder them all. Perhaps then he would find his place in the world. He would find his meaning. In his mind, he had become an unfathomable monster, preying on the naivety of life’s uninitiated.

The Mirror of Endless Sight
The night was quiet and still, the leaves rustling all around the forest, temporarily breaking the silence that enveloped the place, like a whisper in a church hall. The road was empty — not a single vehicle in sight, and the sky was pitch black, the moon hiding itself behind an endless number of clouds. Mark Freeman walked slowly and steadily, his eyes downcast and a curious air of melancholy and acceptance around him. He wore a black trench coat and his hands were tucked into his pockets. His glasses dangled loosely from his face and he had to push them back up every few minutes. His shoes scraped against the cement of the road creating a rather unpleasant sound, but Mark paid no heed to it. He continued along his way, undisturbed.

Movie Review: 'Angelica'
Angelica starring Jena Malone has had quite a struggle to get to the big screen. The film was completed and shown to festival audiences all the way back in 2015. Only now, however, is this Mitchell Lichtenstein-directed Victorian-era thriller starring Jena Malone finally making it to a release date. I have no insight as to what has held the film back from release, though the strange and ambitious story and daring sexuality may have had a role to play. Angelica is not a movie that mainstream marketers would love to be assigned.
