Movie Review: 'One Last Night' Is a Clever Little Romance
Forgive me while I root for the underdog. One Last Night is certainly an underdog of a movie. This low budget movie has four principal cast members, maybe two locations and a budget that could not have been more than a shoestring. What it does have however, is a clever and likable group of actors to pass a very short running time with.

'Hampstead' - Review (Netflix)
I have lived in London, the United Kingdom, all of my life. Born and bred here, you would think that I would know life here quite well. Growing up and around lower-middle-class people and having moved towards middle-class in adulthood, with a glimpse of the upper-middle-classes, I feel that I have a pretty good knowledge of the lives of Londoners, regardless of their social status.

Movie Review: 'One Bedroom' Is a Bittersweet Slice of Life
One Bedroom opens in a jarring but effective fashion. This movie about a breakup between a couple after five years of living together in a small corner of an ever more gentrified part of Brooklyn, New York, opens with a slam poem about gentrification. The movie isn't about the strange and often unwelcome changes in New York City neighborhoods, but the raw energy and forcefulness of the poem, delivered by actress and model DeAriesha Mack directly to the camera, sets a tone of forceful dialogue that will be the hallmark of One Bedroom.

'The Laws of Thermodynamics' - Review (Netflix)
It is a truism that, generally, a person likes to believe themselves to be right. That is not to say that their every utterance is correct or that they are never wrong. No, it more relates to what they believe, what their guiding principals are. One tends to embrace beliefs that make them feel safe and that reinforce their view of the world.

The Top Binge-Worthy Wedding Movies
If you’re as much of a rom-com fan as I am, you probably love a movie with a good fairytale wedding ending. From the cheesily perfect love story to the to-die-for white dresses, I truly can’t get enough. Maybe it’s the source of hope it gives me and my sad dating life or maybe it’s the witty romance that never fails to brighten my mood, whatever it is—I am most definitely hooked.

5 Underappreciated Romance Films
Okay, I'm not big on the romance genre when it comes to movies. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good romantic comedy every now and then but I'm not going to go looking for one. With that in mind, I've seen a few romance films which don't really get a lot of attention; let's look at some of them.
