If you feel tired and you don't know what happens to your body? Our body is under constant stress, with the consumption of tobacco, foods with flavorings and dyes, alcohol, and, in addition, a lack of sleep. In this article, we will talk about the benefits of detoxifying the body, what does it mean and how should we do it? Detoxification is an important issue in the care of our body, there are different ways and techniques to do it, all methods have the same goal of eliminating all toxins from the body. But what happens when you detox? By reducing all the harmful toxins, it improves your blood circulation, you breathe better, your skin looks brighter and you feel more energized. The body has detoxification mechanisms, including the liver, kidneys, and gastrointestinal system.

The body's natural cleansing processes primarily involve the liver, digestive tract, lungs, kidneys, and skin. Certain potentially dangerous or unwanted substances are easily eliminated in the feces, urine, and sweat, but others must be transformed and neutralized by the liver before they can be eliminated. To transform and neutralize toxins, the liver has developed a detoxification system consisting of two main phases and an intermediate phase. Through this chain of processes, the liver converts toxins into more “docile” and more water-soluble substances so that they can be transported to the kidneys and eliminated in the urine, or transported through the bile ducts to the intestine to be eliminated. Finally, be eliminated with the feces.

Detoxifying naturally is one of the most popular and best ways to remove toxins from the body. Detox juices became well known for their great benefit of cleansing the body. However, it is not the natural way to eliminate toxins.

Consider these healthy ways to detoxify your body:

1. Start the day on an empty stomach, drinking a small glass of warm water with the juice of half a lemon. This simple step regulates the body's PH, activates it, and prepares it for fat burning for the rest of the day.

2. Reduce the amount of refined sugars (candy and sodas), refined flours (processed foods), artificial ingredients, and preservatives in your diet.

3. Include more antioxidants (plant-based foods such as fruits and vegetables), which help reduce the damaging effects of toxins.

4. Fiber helps regulate digestion. Avoid or limit processed, fried, and high-sugar foods, try to maintain a high-fiber diet and eat more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean protein.

5. Eat foods high in B vitamins. Without enough B vitamins, the liver's ability to detoxify itself can be compromised. Good dietary sources of B vitamins include fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and fortified yeast.

6. Exercising and doing yoga daily is one of the best ways to detox your mind and body. Long, deep breaths help promote the process of releasing toxins from the body. This practice will also help you become more mindful about eating

7. Sleep is essential, maintaining a healthy schedule between 6 and 8 hours can help maintain a healthy weight, in addition to being essential when detoxifying. Preferably, it is recommended to try to sleep early.

In recent months due to quarantine, many have been in little movement, sitting practically most of the time, with a lot of anxiety-causing overeating just out of boredom and the foods are almost always processed or refined, which are not good for our health. Follow these natural and simple ways to keep yourself healthy and fit.
