How Fasting Change Me.
When losing weight, fasting was my go to practice and thanks to this i made it 110 lbs. But what I didn't know was the negative effects that this practice has in a women body. Even though this practice is different for many people and my experience might be different from others, at the end of the day it is about how we feel most comfortable. Many might have a different experience from mine and remember that everyone's body is different and my experience might be different from others.

Digging into the plant-based diet
For people who want to improve their health and the health of the planet, one of the most empowering things they can do is to incorporate more plant-based foods into their diet. Reducing the consumption of animal products and replacing them with plant-based foods can reduce the risk for three major diseases: diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. The famous China Study conducted by Cornell University, Oxford University, and the Chinese Academy of Preventative Medicine, revealed that a plant-based diet can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, certain types of cancer, and other major illnesses.

Quarantine Vibes; Does the Egg Diet Actually Work?
Last week, I tried something that has been recently trending on all social media platforms; yet another diet appraised for helping all clear their digestive systems and lose some stubborn fat...the classic. On a normal day, I would never have given this diet a second glance however, it's quarantine and to avoid snacking and binge eating, I decided to give this egg thing a go. The results...surprisingly shocking and disappointingly good.

All About Folic Acid and the Benefits it Offers
You have likely heard of folic acid, but you may not know what it is or what benefits it offers. Folate is a type of water-soluble vitamin, which is also called vitamin B9. It does not occur naturally in food, but it is often added to supplements and to refined grain products, like cereals and bread. Because folic acid is so different than natural folate, it is necessary for your body to convert it into an active form before it can be used by your body. Your genetics are going to impact how quickly this conversion will occur, which makes folic acid a rather trending topic in modern nutrition research.

Gimme a Beet.
Now that I have your attention with my clever title... Let's talk PRE-WORKOUT SUPPLEMENTS. There are swarms of different opinions regarding the use of pre-workout supplements. My personal opinion is that our body does a good job of telling us when we need to move and when we need to rest (I have never used any form of "pre-workout" unless you count a cup of coffee!), but my opinion does not have to be yours. If you prefer high intensity fitness or are constantly striving to hit a new level at the gym, taking energy boosters beforehand are helpful.

Antioxidant: Sickness's Enemy
When I use to become ill when I was a child, my parents always pumped me with medicines. More importantly, vitamin C. As tradition reigned, vitamin C and sleep have been good to me when I felt under the weather. On the contrary, I didn't fully understand the relationship my immune system and vitamin C.
