January Workout
I can't really remember the last time I worked out or even was very physically active. Because of that, the plan I have for this month is SUPER super simple. I found it on Pinterest. The goal of this month's workout out plan is to get me back into gear to start working out on a regular basis and with increasing intensity. Since we are already nearly done with the month, this post will double as my update post. (My first update and workout post got deleted by accident. It's a long story.)

Gym Etiquette; It's a Thing
As the new year begins, a lot of you have probably resolved to get back into the gym. That's awesome—you're a winner. However, unless you want the half-naked gorilla man with glutes like watermelon halves to grunt at you, you might need a review in gym etiquette.

Is it Better to Work Out in the Morning or Afternoon? . Top Story - January 2018.
The other day I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine who is an early riser. She enjoys waking up early, going for a run, and having a nice breakfast before heading to work in the morning. Her alarm is set for five AM every morning to accommodate for her morning routine, which occasionally includes a yoga class or some quality time in the gym instead of on a run. Naturally, as a night owl myself, I was curious to know if there were really any real benefits to going to the gym so early in the morning because, really, why else would someone want to wake up so early in the morning?! I was surprised to learn a few great pros and cons to both cases. Take a look.

Workout Preface
I don't really believe in New Year's resolutions. To me, they just seem like they were made to be broken. With that being said, I have decided to really try and commit to bettering myself in the year to come. I am doing this in multiple facets of my life and one of them is through physical fitness and all around healthiness.

How To Reach Your Fitness Goals
Our world is obsessed with image. Everywhere you go there is an astounding exertion of pressure on people to look a certain way, from the people in your favorite bits of media to the everyday advertisements trying to sell you the most banal products; if you don't have washboard abs or a sculpted set of glutes, you are nothing, and you are not worth a single iota of happiness or attention. Apparently, to have any resounding sense of worth to yourself or the society around you, you have to possess the qualities of Barbie and Ken if you want to truly make it anywhere in life.
