What Happens Before & After Liver Transplant Surgery
India’s first successful living donor liver transplant happened in 1998. Since then, the number of such operations has risen admirably in the country. However, the fact remains that the number of patients on waiting lists is far more than the actual number of surgeries carried out. There is a need for around 25,000 liver transplants per year, but the year 2014 saw only 1,400 transplants.

The Reason Your Health Kick Isn't Working
It happens to the best of us - you see a photo of your goal body, see a healthy recipe you'd like to try, or just get fed up with being unhealthy, and go on a sudden 'health kick' to change every single habit you have in exchange for a healthier alternative. And, surprise surprise, it doesn't last longer than a few days, maybe a week if you're lucky. It's just not sustainable. Trying to kick one single bad habit or introduce a new healthy habit is hard enough, let alone entirely changing your lifestyle. It's hard to resist though; when you're in the mood to try and be healthy, you want to do it all. It doesn't feel worth it otherwise. But trust me, if you hold yourself back, that's how you stop yourself from getting burnt out and you can actually make progress.

Chronic Pain
The thing most people take advantage of is that life can change for the worst within seconds. They walk through life as they own it and nothing can stop them from making their goals. That isn’t the true reality of life though unfortunately. We can’t predict that you will be hospitalized in a week or even at your healthiest point in life. I for one didn’t think that I would be healthy one moment and sick the next. I don’t feel like I was someone who took advantage of the way life works either. I am just a small teenage girl who got the bad end of the stick, unfortunately. It is just one thing after another, after another that seems to want to make life a lot harder to handle than it already is.

If a person repeats this on a daily basis, it will lead to weight gain, which causes low self-esteem and unhappiness along the way. In order to avoid this downward spiral, a person should first take control of his or her lifestyle.
