The Smell of Death?!
Oh my friends Emergency Service agencies get so many different calls for help that I think the general public would be really surprised but on occasion we are surprised as well. This was the case when we were dispatched to, " The Smell of Death."

Marriage or Medicaid?
Surviving a double lung transplant after being diagnosed with a rare lung-attacking autoimmune disease, I couldn’t see beyond the moment. I was grateful to be alive thanks to the advancements in medical technology and the superior health care I received. I wouldn’t have been able to receive that care if it weren’t for my medical insurance. Fast forward 18 months later and I am making plans for my future. Or am I?

Ableism
So here is little old 5ft 1” me at 8 and some stone. I have a condition called Ehlers Danlos which causes me to dislocate easily. Since the birth of my 2 children my hips have lost their stability and sub-lax frequently. (Partially move out the joint socket) the same happens with my wrists & knees on a regular basis. Most nights I dislocate my big toes on the duvet and often wake with ribs out of place. I don’t have a central solid core muscle so I fall over very easily.

When Green Breaks through Ash
Finally, the raining ash and smoke are clearing away. My fire-ravaged state has stopped bleeding. Hills covered in sycamores, walnut, oak, cottonwood, and pine are now graveyards of burned matchstick forests and ash. It took everything inside of me for my heart not to break in half, just looking at what was left of the drive up into the Sierra Nevadas.

The Latest Coronavirus Comes From Dogs
Scientists have known for decades that coronaviruses can cause disease in dogs, but until recently there had not been any evidence that these viruses can infect humans. Scientists have discovered a new canine coronavirus in a child who was hospitalized with pneumonia in Malaysia in 2018. If the virus is confirmed to be a human pathogen, it would be the eighth coronavirus, and the first canine coronavirus, known to cause disease in humans.

10 Things That Will Never Be The Same After The Pandemic Ends
The longer I stay home for lockdown, the more things I can add to this list... Human Interaction Currently, if I miss something the most then it is meeting and talking to people in reality. The virtual nature of things has made me lose the feel of reality, of people, of touch, of enjoyment with friends, late-night parties. It seems like all that was ages ago.

Please be patient, I have autism. Second Place in Social Shock Challenge. Top Story - May 2021.
I often hurt people unexpectedly and unintentionally. I was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise specified (PDD-NOS) back in my mid-twenties. I was completing my last semester of my undergraduate studies at the time. Back then, PDD-NOS was its own thing, something I had never heard of until my therapist mentioned it to me.
