A Personal Prelude
Hey world, my name is Kayla Adams. I am a current Asheville, NC local, running enthusiast, dog mom, better half to an amazing and even better person, daughter, sister, grand-daughter, friend, and much more. While blessed to play so many different roles in life, I also have one heck of a story to tell. So if you have a spare moment to listen, I would like to tell you my story and show how each of my roles has impacted how I got to where I am today and why I am deciding to tell my story now.

Three Tales and a Happy Ending
Life is what you make it and everyone experiences life based on their own perception. Whether the perception is good or bad, coming from a place of love or fear, filled with pain or happiness depends on the programming that you received so far in your life. Every thought is a product of the conditioning that we have received while we were growing up and experiencing life. I am not going to say that I received healthy programming because I too acted out of fear and pain many times (still do). In fact, most of the unrest going on in this world is due to the programming that we constantly receive through the society that we exist in, social media and news. Even the most polished and open-minded people are subject to this subconscious programming. Let me explain this through two stories that I read on the internet.

2020:A Year Of Tragedy
January 1 of each year the United States is full of celebration from corner to corner. Family and friends gather for cookouts, beach/pool parties, concerts, and other special events that go on around the . There are so many different ones that I couldn't possibly list them all. However the one thing that each event has in common happens at 11:59pm. With anticipation and excitement, we watch the ball drop in Times Square for a countdown of the last 10 seconds the year we said goodbye to. When the clock hits zero we say hello to a new year and the world cheers, claps, and dances up and down the streets in each small town and all the big cities. Hugging and kissing our loved ones for another year we get to spend together and grow together. However when we celebrated for the incoming 2020 NEVER could any of us expect what we got. Furthermore, the United States wasn't alone because every country was hit with tragedy and some places more than one.

A Skunk That Led To Scars
When I was a little girl, I believe that I behaved like a normal child. Very active, loved going outside to play, pouted whenever I didn't get my way, and even got into trouble every now and then. When we are kids, that's where we start learning our lessons of appreciation and kindness. I have such a lesson scarred onto my arm, and will always have as a reminder to be grateful and kind.

My 2019 Year in Review
As December comes to a close, I look back over the year and review all that has happened. It serves as a learning tool as well as a chance to remember all that we accomplished during the year. The year 2020, in late 2019 I called the year 2020, the year of perfect vision. Looking back, the year is going to be one that many people will dread to recall.

What a 2020esque Night's Sleep
The Joy of an Intimate Relationship the idea of a spiritual partnership what a true soul to soul partnership is A spiritual partnership is not the same as a marriage. Marriage is between two people who promise to stay together no matter what happens. A spiritual partnership is between two people who promise themselves to use all of their experiences, negative and positive, to grow spiritually.
