An Open Letter to America's Physicians:
To all the physicians in America, I am one too and I need you to know: I see you. I hear you. To the Wachusett Emergency Physicians Group in Massachusetts who just days ago, have lost your contract to UMass without cause, I see you; I hear you.

COVID-19: What You Have Given Us And What You Have Taken Away
You have stolen people's lives, their jobs and their sense of security. You've stolen graduate student trips, incomplete semesters at foreign universities, the Olympics, proms, paychecks, and groceries everywhere.

The Covid 19 Diaries
My COVID 19 Calendar 23rd March 2020 will be looked back on by historians studying Britain as one of the most significant days in Britain’s history. Not in the same way as 1st September 1939 when the country started to face the existential threat posed by the outbreak of World War II but as a day when the country had to finally face up to the reality of the COVID 19 virus. For these diaries 23rd March 2020 will be referred to as ‘Day 0’ and all references to the days before and following will be referred to as ‘Day - ‘ or ‘Day + ’ respectively.

14 Days of Quarantine...
These past two years... I mean weeks, has been an interesting for many of us. I'm sure if you're not apart of the lucky bunch who still has their jobs and some sort of security, you've probably started to lose your mind like I have. Being locked away under quarantine to protect my life and the life of those closest and most vulnerable to me has been both challenging and exhausting. There's only so much Netflix and YouTube a girl can watch before she loses her sight because of the blue light emitting from her laptop.

My Perks of being quarantine.
Being quarantined has it perks. Well for me it does. You see, I am what they call an ambivert. That means I fall in the middle of extrovert and introvert. I pull energy from both personality types. For example, I really enjoy working with people (Associate Teacher here) and being around people; like my students, friends, and best of all, my family. However, dealing with people can be mentally, and sometimes physically draining, depending on the kind of work you do. As people, we need and require so much, and working Monday through Friday, for seven to eight hours per day; with people is more than enough time to learn and determine that dealing people is exhausting.
