Who Am I?
A lot of people say cheesy things like “follow your heart and it will lead you to your unanswered questions” or “follow your passion and you will find your purpose” but what if I don’t believe in that anymore? What if that has always been a lie? A lie to keep people in this world, to keep them from thinking that they don’t even exist.

Beating the Sunday Night Blues
For those working the regular nine-to-five, Monday-to-Friday pattern, the weekend serves as a pause button, bringing a welcome break to many business activities. A time to kick back and unwind, it's a precious two-day spell. Unfortunately, every good thing has an end—a fact that seems to hit home twice as hard with regard to the weekend. As Sunday afternoon unfolds, thoughts turn to your beloved leisure time winding down and how, in a matter of hours, you will be heading back to the office. What's more, with the thinking time available at the weekend—where you have a chance to simply "be" without the mental clutter of having to "do"—you can find yourself slipping into introspection. Sunday night can easily become a time of mixed emotions and not knowing what to think, adding to a sense of anxiety.

Curveballs
Life is always throwing curveballs right to our faces and we stand there stunned as they hit us right between the eyes. Sometimes we can't do anything about life situations because let's face it: shit happens. For instance, you get laid off a job you have been working for five years. Your team didn't win the championship by a three-point touchdown. You end up bombing a major test that was 20 percent odd your grade because you didn't study two weeks before. You might have ended up losing a friend from losing trust or not having your back when you needed them the most. You probably had to grow up faster than the other kids just to support your family. Maybe you missed your bus again for the third time this week because you kept hitting snooze on your alarm.

Don't Let a Bad Day Make You Feel Like You Have a Bad Life
So, you've had a bad day? Well, guess what, so have I! Everyone has had bad days before. And guess what, that is completely normal. I am a teenager, still in high school, and I have had terrible days. Either if it is because I got a bad mark on a test or if my friends ditched me. But even when I felt like I had to end this short life, I still thanked god that I am blessed with beautiful brown hair, legs, ears, nose, and my lovely eyes. Everyone has seen terrible days. But be thankful for what you have and what you own. You never know, things could have been worse...

Under the Weather
Under the weather. What does that mean? Google will tell you it means, “slightly unwell,” or, “low in spirits.” Everyone feels “under the weather” on occasion. I feel it most when the weather itself isn’t nice. I feel it in the winter when the cold gets under my skin, and my hair gets brittle. I feel it when the days are short and dark and I can’t pull myself out of bed. “But winter isn’t all that bad!” Well, I guess I can agree.

Yes, I Admit It
I'm 19. When I was younger I thought that at 19 I'd either have everything figured out or I'd be famous enough to not care about having everything figured out. But now that I am who I am, I can't believe that at this kind of age I'm supposed to have my whole life figured out, according to my parents of course. At one point I did of course, but then I realized there was so much more than textbooks and equations. I guess I could say they don't understand, and maybe they don't but what if they do. I have probably gone through every phase possible and I am proud to admit it that yes, I dream a lot. At one point in my life I dreamt of being up on a stage wearing fabulous clothing and having crowds sing my songs with me. Then I thought I'd be a dancer, artist, photographer, actress, etc. Little did I know how powerful shyness and intimidation could be. Now, I like to write. I like to do a little bit of everything and although I've searched everywhere theres no job that allows me to do that. My biggest fear is doing something that I hate everyday because then every thing that I have gone through would have been for nothing. I'm passionate about a lot and I know that I'm the only one holding myself back. I just wish parents and people in general saw what I see in my head.

Twists and Turns
Life is a whirlwind. It’s full of twists and turns. You have this idea how you want things to turn out, and you set all these dreams and goals for yourself, and it drives you crazy as you constantly think about them and you have all these questions—how to get there, how bad do you want it? What lengths will you go to make that dream to a reality? How little you’ve done to achieve those goals… You have all these ideas, but you have so freaking many and you have no idea where to start, and you know it’s impossible to achieve them all, so you make some sacrifices, for yourself.

Make Good Choices
Have any of you heard that new Luke Bryan song? I guess it's not all that new now. It's called "Fast," and it talks about how quickly life goes, and I really appreciate that song. I graduated in 2014, and since then I have realized how quickly life can pass by. My dad once said, "When you are an adult, the days sometimes feel like they will never end, but then you blink and the week has passed. And soon it's been a month, and then a year, and you don't even know where the time has went."
