Inspiration
Thoughts from the “Inspiration Man” Welcome to the opening of an inspiring mind, to look at all different perspectives and moments of clarity. My name is Chandler Durham Jr, I come from the background of a "underdog" striving as a human being as I succeded in the midst of adversity. Growing up without a solid foundation which carried abandoment issues formed hidden scars, only wanting to run from it all. As I stepped up to the tides of life I really didnt understsand a definite purpose to commit to or an interest of unconditional passion for what I believed to be true. I had the thought of a well rounded stand up kind of person, who was willing to be resourceful, reliable, and restless. I wanted to see myself to be a man that made a change not only for himself but for everyone needing an example, a mentor, a motivator as well of course an inspiration. Now knowing this I can"t forget the other side of me, where I have had intense moments when enaging in failure or some type of discomort attacking my beliefs. Walking into situations without proper awareness of things I jumped impulsively into deep rages of emotion then suffering harsh consequences. More than enough errors accumilated over time stretching my dreams further away instead of closer into a progessive fruition in present reality. In reflection of whether I learned the actual lessson or am I repeating the same cycle over again. Self confidence is a part I lacked to unlock the unlimited potential, giving up before the finish line, not putting in enough effort, and lost of hope. After reading these few sentences the question could be rambling in the cognitive to what did I find uplifting that pushed me through. There's this deep feeling of an urge that rises above me with a strength to solve the broken pieces of oneself, being whole throughout every experience holding on to what it is authentically true. A valuable lesson from my grandmother as the caregiver in my past childhood expalined in a reformed thought summarized as "to be your own man." The phrase puts an influence streaming to the inspiration of action. Gathering characteristics to be ambitious, driven, determined, focused all qualities combine to make a massvie comeback. For every struggle I absorded it to create masterpieces, I refuse the defeat to any circumstance because I was born for GREATNESS!!! I feel everybody's light is inside waiting to be ignited by some event in life that will stir up an epic reaction. I know what it feels like swimming in depression for too long, I know dark nights where your all alone, I know how to survive when courage is your last option. I am not afraid my own darkness for it won't corrupt me, change me, and nonetheless control me. I see the brave warrior who fights but who isn't afraid to fall on the battlefield for others. I am the speaker connecting hearts with a loud and joyful voice conjuring up the very spirit that serves us great gifts. I am the father my dad couldn't be for me so I thank him as those decisions shifted the path I want to build for my whole family (purpose, wife, and children). I believe we all contribute to the successes of others no matter how big or small, the significance is how we process it for the betterment of ourselves. The Sins of Money
Money can do a lot of good but it is the evil done with the money that causes the most troubled. Money is a concept and it goes beyond race, class, age, and gender. Oppression is a common tool of money. Some people with money believed that they can walk on whoever they please because they have not found anything equal to the weight of money. This is why we had so many rebellions against the law and order. The law covers an offense for the price of money. Money has no limit because our society empowers money as an influence. If you can influence the right people then you can win any case. We have equated money to above the law. We must move steps toward controlling the influence of money in politics and society as a whole. Money degrades race, class, age, and gender even though it can avail it. It sets a standard and takes away all humanity making everything able to buy at a price even life. When one life is above the other life because of money in the eyes of the law, then justice is detoured.

When You Need a Shoulder
I never thought I would live through a pandemic. I studied things like the Black Plague in history class, I've read numerous stories about life after an apocalyptic plague, my husband and I used to play the board game Pandemic any time family came to visit...but I never considered it would be something that would affect me personally. Then it happened, and it's affect on me is not what I would have guessed once I accepted it,

unpopular opinion: this pandemic has actually been good to me.
If you’re like me, quarantine started as not at all good for my mind, nor has it been kind to my mental health. My mind is always going one mile a minute. While I’ve always been an introvert and have enjoyed my space & solitude, the outside world contained many outlets for me that were merely distractions. When I couldn’t stop thinking, or turn off the thoughts in my head gnawing at my anxiety and peace, I would get out of the house and head to my favorite store, or I’d find myself looking for something, anything to do. When the world shut down, so did my scapegoats. I was forced to battle my demons… but I didn’t do it alone, and more importantly… I didn’t lose.

No one can take this away from you
Imagine you’re 80, you just smoked a fat joint, you’re kicking back with nothing but your thoughts, your memories, the life that you’ve lived. Ask yourself, what would you like to think about. What would you like to take to the grave, knowing that you’ve accomplished? Basically ask yourself what memories are worth getting high for?

How to Cultivate a Positive Mindset
The interest in understanding a positive mindset has increased over the years with research highlighting many of its key benefits. Positive imagery, optimism, and positive self-talk are all part of developing a positive mindset, which is crucial in today’s world. While positive thinking is essential to developing a positive mindset, it does not mean that people who have a positive mindset are out of touch with reality or otherwise incapable of acknowledging the difficulty of their current circumstances. They choose to remain positive despite the negativity in their life and this is crucial for multiple reasons.

Enough is Enough
Enough is Enough When is enough, enough? How many times did your parent(s) say this to you? I doubt that I can count the number of times I’ve said those words to my sons when they were younger. Awe yes we do indeed turn into our parents eventually. (an entire new topic to approach)

Drowning
I have found trying to do everything all at once is a good way to drown. I took a step back this week and asked for a few days to do nothing. I laid my head down on my pillow and slept. I slept for the most part of three days. I found that it did not really help. The exhaustion that I feel goes so much deeper than the physical. My very soul is tired. I look around our crazy world and realize I am not alone, and yet, I am so very alone. The drowning is beyond what I can describe, beyond my own comprehension.
