Basic Life Lessons Isolation has made me Come to Terms With (Woman Child Edition)
2020 has not been friendly. I welcomed in the New year on the snowy French slopes, filled up on bread and wine and the company of old friends- lulled into a short-lived contentedness and drunk on mulled wine and the sneaking suspicion that this year would be better than the last.

The Magic of Embracing Your Inner Child
Since finishing my sophomore year of college from my childhood bedroom in St. Louis rather than in my chic, open-double dorm room at Syracuse University, I have had more than enough free time on my hands. The exhausted student in me is telling me to use this time to sleep in until noon and binge watch New Girl on Netflix until ungodly hours. While I have definitely been indulging in this opportunity for laziness, something about living in my aqua blue bedroom covered in childhood photos, art projects and books has inspired me to embrace the child in me.

From the Inside Out
Perspective can change everything. How do you feel about expectations? Do you feel constantly disappointed by others? What if I could convince you that if you change your perspective about expectations, you could avoid the disappointment? Expectations can either learn you or burn you. If you look up the meaning of expectation, it is defined as a strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future; a belief that someone will or should achieve something; one's prospects of inheritance. Expectations often times lead to disappointments. Why? A disappointment is defined as sadness or displeasure, caused by the nonfulfillment of one's hopes or expectations. But only if YOU let it! Disappointment has a negative connotation therefore can leave you with a negative experience. What you gain or lose is up to you. The gain would be defined as learning a lesson and subtracting the expectation.

IS IT WORTH YOUR CAREER?
No one wants to work until they’re old and no one wants to be stuck in a career they do not like. Some people can will make the gamble; others are not interested in risking it all. It seems fear or doubt can be the partaker in these bearings and also deciding if it is worth the risk. Some people have jobs that come with retirement benefits, making it difficult to leave.

Motivational Ideas (Part 4)
1. All actions are based on their intentions. But its likely that those intentions are not known by others. They are only known by you. In this regards, it is important to realize that whenever we do anything, especially the good deeds, it is quite likely that in the middle of that action, we start intending to show off to people. It's likely that our intentions can sometimes fall off these targets. One of our main distractions from our clean intentions becomes the intention of showing off to others. We may want appreciation from people, or we may want to fit into the society and overcome some peer pressure, or we may want to show ourselves as superior to others. All these intentions can easily ruin our plan of action and distract us.

Evolution
When you can understand evolution, life itself can be understood. As the turbulent waves of life come crashing down, don’t let this cycle of life dishearten you. With strife comes exponential growth and this growth is part of the evolutionary process. As you learn you expand. Your strength becomes unmatched. Evolution is absolute.

Follow Steve Martin's Advice. "Be so good they can't ignore you."
When I was in college, I used to call my brother every Sunday evening. We would talk about the week, things going on, classes, etc. He had graduated from college as was working for a .com company that was starting up. It was the year 2000. He would tell me about the platform and how they would be able to help models and agents. It sounded like a great idea. I didn’t understand anything he would tell me about the technology because it was hard to grasp. It was all so new and exciting.
