Sickness
Fear is only two of many different ways we perceive it to be. True fear which you acknowledge as danger causes you to freeze, hide, or flee. Then there's irrational fear which is a phobia, but fear could also be a sickness for the people who think very differently than the "normal" way of thinking. Fear can cause damage to a person's brain and impair the memories, so their way of thinking is distorted.

The One and Only
Lately things have been in a grey area... Dealing with a broken family, past mistakes, and loss can severely take a toll on people who barely seem to catch a break. When you have so many issues present all at once, you naturally tend to look for happiness in places to fill the void or help distract you, and that's what I did. I believe fate led me to him, but it surely wasn't fate to end up there. I found my short-lived happiness in another person, and that's absolutely wrong to do! His smile alone was enough to take away a week's worth of pain that I constantly felt. How can that be possible? How can one person numb a giant list of your problems and pain? I found him when I was in a dark place, and I was still there when he left me. Always remember true love moves your spirit out of that dark place; you guys grow, learn, and care for each other together. TRUE LOVE NOURISHES YOU ALWAYS!

Dear 2008 Me
Dear 2008 me, Hey, I know this might sound a little bit crazy, but remember that one time you swore to yourself that if this ever happened you'd believe it? I'm you in the future. The year is 2018, the Jonas Brothers aren't together anymore, and Donald Trump is the President of The United States of America. I'm sorry, I know this sound like the beginning of a bad joke, but I'm totally serious.

Unpopular Opinion: Not Having a Passion is OK
Have you found your passion in life? No? NO? Follow you passion! Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life! Guess what? You probably won’t find your passion. Chances are, you might not even have the world’s definition of a “passion”.

Defeat Yourself
Many of us are defeated before we’ve even begun. We’ve subconsciously placed ourselves in the losers' circle because of the habits we’ve developed over time. Everyday things that we’re doing which ultimately result in our demise. The "cheat day" for our diets that happens at least three times a week, the thing you've always wanted to do but not until you research it and decide it's too much work, or the trip we've always wanted to take but instead end up spending that money on the clothes and morning coffee instead.

The Value of You
I know what you're thinking, another self-help article about feeling better, about being better. Wrong. I would never lecture somebody about their life, I'm just here to put in my two cents in and hopefully someone turns it into a million. How many times have you sat at home and swore to yourself that tomorrow was going to be the day? Tomorrow I'm going to do this, tomorrow I'm going to change that. I've been there, trust me I'm with you buddy. I hate to break it to you, but you might be dead tomorrow. That's not a threat, I'm just saying. How many times have you come home from a stressful day and thrown yourself directly into additional responsibilities? I'm active duty military with a wife and a two-year-old and sorry if you're reading this babe, but I'm going to say it. When I come home I give myself 20 to 30 minutes, sometimes even an hour to decompress. In that time, I am on my own, just me in my own thoughts, I do what I want and it has changed my life ever since I started the habit.

Tips for the People Who Just Do Too Much
Listen, some of us are the kings and queens of overloading our mental capacity. We work full-time, some of us go to college, we have significant others, and let's be honest, everyone wants just a little bit of a social life. When you work way too hard and overload yourself, things get jumbled, you fall behind and you panic. Rinse and repeat. Thankfully, people like myself thrive on order, and there's a system—yes, a system, to help the people who do way too much.

Reasons Millennials Are Under Incredible Pressure
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t struggling lately. Emotionally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, I’m exhausted. Everything I’ve been going through the past year, makes it really easy to just give in to all my insecurities and just hide away from the world. Those are the days I’ve found it’s THE MOST important to get up and prove to the world I’m not so easily defeated. You're allowed to cry, you're allowed to scream, you're allowed to feel insecure, just don’t give up.

⭐ Confidence
Confidence. Something which is not so easily attained by some of us including myself. You may be wondering how the opening image contributes in any way to what I'm about to talk about regarding confidence but take another look at said image in a different light.
