Caress

Tiny they are

And yet so potent

They touch

Their thin caress elucidates

The worlds that ever were

It heralds those that are to come.

*

I am transported beyond time

Beyond beings

And find these tiny fingers

They envelop me in their strength

So tiny these fingers of my child.

This is so tender and full of love. The imagery of a child's tiny fingers holding such immense strength is beautifully moving.
