In a pan of gold, where butter sways,
Garlic sings in fragrant praise,
Mushrooms dance, and peppers glow,
Spinach wilts in twilight’s show.

Ginger warms with cinnamon's kiss,
Thyme leans in, a herbal bliss.
A crumble of stock, a bubbling tide,
Then lentils pour like joy inside.

Oh humble pulse, you steal the scene,
With velvet bite and earthy sheen.
I eat, I sigh, I eat again—
Each bowl a balm for soul and brain.

And morning breaks with frozen cheer,
Banana smooth, the berries near.
A whirring glass of ruby flight,
A sip of stars, a burst of light.

So let the world chase fancy fare—
I’ve found my heaven in humble care.
In lentil stew and berry swirl,
I celebrate the simple world.
