Stop The Bloodshed
The Unnecessary Line Challenge
if I give you a rose now
would you stop the violence somehow
would you stop the gunfire that rings loud
will you stop the shedding of blood

if I gave you a rainbow in the sky
would you even think to ask why
that people in war continue to die
please stop the bomb thuds
*****************************************
stop the destruction in Ukraine
it is all fighting, that is in vain
how many men have been slain
will you stop if I gave you a flower bud?

things in nature are more beautiful than anything in the Universe
does the fighting between Cambodia and Thailand have to continue
despite world leaders finding them a different venue
will you find something more peaceful on the menu
will you stop if you saw a flower dying in the icy mud
does Israel and Hamas have to fight for survival
is the war about land or about religious revival
are the people of Hamas suffering from deprival
would you stop if I gave you a beautiful splash of water and not a flood
what would it take to stop the violence
