The Truth and the Point Laid Out

Here is the truth that everyone in the United States seems to have forgotten. To my dear Republicans, Democrats are not the only corrupt people in the world of politics. Yes, they are the most corrupt at the moment, but they are certainly not the only ones. Corruption exists on every side of the government. To my dear Democrats… get your shit together and wake up to reality and the evil that is taking place. It is no longer the Democrat party in action and belief. The Democrat party has become the American Communists Party. Very tragic.

However, every single American needs to realize and remember that the true “us versus them” in this country is and has always been, “we the people” versus the government. The recent election saved us from a lot of rapid further downfall and evil acts, but even the current government is doing things that go against the promises made and the hopes that US citizens had in the 2024 Presidential election.

The Real Us Versus Them

The government wants us to believe that there are certain absolute versions of us vs them. Of course, which one it is will depend on which side you ask. They are simple and time-tested theories of division in this country. Despite being very outdated, they still work on the weak minded, so the government continues to control and manipulate its people through these tactics. They want you to believe that is whites versus blacks, citizens versus immigrants (only partly true), Republicans versus Democrats, Independents versus everybody else, blacks versus thugs, and the list goes on and on and on for pages and pages of divisional jargon that is meant to keep us fighting amongst ourselves and not paying attention to what both sides of the political aisle are doing.

Again, I remind you that the real us versus them is simply, “we the people” (that’s you and me) versus the government and those who would seek to use our backs to step up and climb higher. Trust nothing and no one that stands as a politician or in a political, or even leadership, role. Everything you hear them say, research it on your own in an unbiased way. When you hear the media talking about a story, remember that they side with one side of the political aisle or the other and that they are telling you what the politicians on that side want you to hear, what they want you to believe, what they want you to think.

Remember, we are not just talking about Presidents either. This goes for state officials, city officials, and all the way down to the leaders of your local decision-making bodies. I know that there are many positions of power where the person is appointed and not elected. Well, keep in mind that every appointed person was put there by someone who was elected. You put their boss in their position, so it is okay to go over the appointed person’s head and ask for correction from the elected official. Every person in government, that’s federal, state, city, and local government, works for us. Far too many people look at them as being above US citizens like you and I. That includes those in power as well, of course. Not true! In reality, they work for us, we are their boss. If they are not performing the job in a manner that we hired (aka elected) them to do… they can be fired just like anybody else.

Quick Final Thoughts and Reminder

You hate the current President. Okay… how is that going for you? How is that hate in your heart serving you and your life? Is your life better? Have you accomplished more in your life or found more meaningful relationships because you hold that hate in your heart? My guess is, “no” to all the above. You think the country is a racist and horrible place because the media and politicians told you that, that is what you are supposed to think and believe. Okay… same thing, how’s that working out for you? How is that serving you and your life in any positive way? How does that leave you feeling each day? Exactly!

You see the loss of common sense and the radical acts going on from one side of the political aisle and it makes you furious. Okay… how is your anger doing anything positive? How is your hate and anger making the world better? How is it helping your mental and emotional health? Exactly! Pay attention to the world that is, not the world as they paint it to be. Don’t be quick to shout at someone or assume that you hate them, when in truth, you don’t know everything about them. Some people are just lost and that’s okay. The lost can be found. No, that’s not a religious statement either. It applies with or without religious beliefs.

In short and the main things to remember are this… always know and remember who the real us versus them refers to and always know and remember the true authority of your power and say-so when it comes to correcting the real “them” and their actions or intentions. Know the truth by doing the research yourself. Believe nothing that the government or the media says. We are the “we” in “we the people” and nobody is above us as a collective. Thank you.

    Well said!

  • This article, "The Truth and the Point Laid Out," presents a fervent and unambiguous call for Americans to recognize a fundamental division often obscured by political rhetoric: "we the people" versus the government. The author's central thesis resonates with a deep-seated distrust of authority, urging readers to cast aside partisan squabbles and focus on what they perceive as the true source of manipulation and control. One of the article's strengths lies in its blunt refusal to play into the typical Republican vs. Democrat narrative. The author explicitly states that corruption is not exclusive to one side, though they do claim Democrats are "most corrupt at the moment" and have become the "American Communists Party." This strong, perhaps inflammatory, assertion is likely intended to shock readers into considering a different perspective, even if it might alienate some. By framing the conflict as "we the people versus the government," the article taps into a populist sentiment that transcends traditional party lines, a sentiment that has gained considerable traction in recent years. The author effectively argues that common divisive tactics—racial, ideological, and social—are merely tools used by "the government" to distract citizens from its own actions. The repeated emphasis on personal research and unbiased investigation is a crucial and valuable piece of advice in an age of information overload and partisan media. The author's skepticism toward both politicians and the media, regardless of their political leanings, encourages a much-needed critical approach to news consumption. This call to independent thought empowers the reader, shifting responsibility for understanding the truth from external sources to the individual. However, the article's sweeping condemnation of all politicians and all media, while emphasizing personal responsibility, risks fostering an environment of cynicism that could be counterproductive. While vigilance and skepticism are vital, a complete distrust of all those in leadership or media roles could lead to disengagement rather than informed action. If "nobody" can be trusted, then what avenues remain for collective action or holding power accountable through democratic processes? The article suggests "correcting the real 'them' and their actions or intentions" by remembering "the true authority of your power and say-so," but the practical mechanisms for this correction within a system where all government is deemed untrustworthy are not clearly delineated. The "Quick Final Thoughts and Reminder" section offers a thoughtful, if somewhat preachy, reflection on the futility of hate and anger. It challenges readers to assess whether their emotional responses to political narratives are genuinely serving their well-being. This pivot from political critique to personal introspection is a compelling aspect, pushing beyond intellectual agreement to emotional resonance. The statement "Some people are just lost and that’s okay. The lost can be found. No, that’s not a religious statement either," offers a moment of unexpected compassion, softening the otherwise hard-hitting tone. In conclusion, "The Truth and the Point Laid Out" is a provocative opinion piece that strongly advocates for a re-evaluation of who the "real enemy" is in American society. Its strength lies in its passionate appeal for unity among citizens against perceived governmental overreach and its powerful call for independent critical thinking. While its broad generalizations about corruption and the media may be seen as extreme by some, its core message—that citizens are ultimately the bosses of their government and must remain vigilant—is a powerful reminder of foundational democratic principles.

Insightful piece, Timothy. You've nailed the core issue: the real divide is between the people and a government that thrives on our divisions. I appreciate your call for independent research and accountability—it's a reminder we all need.

You have hit several nails on the head here!

  • First all the most corrupt political party we have right now is the Republican party. You say that we the people can fire elected officials. Not so easy. Especially when we have a president who has blanket immunity and he can get away with anything he wants. He can get away with any evil and any illegal act that he commits while in office. Look how he is trying to interfere with the 2026 election. He calls the governor of Texas to get him five seats. That is very wrong. Just like how he called Georgia to find him 11,000 votes. That is corruption on Donald Trump’s part. My immense dislike for Donald Trump has not hindered my relationships. I still have meaningful relationships. My life is going along just fine. I have accomplished just as much as I have always accomplished and yes I still gravely dislike Donald Trump and I will continue to. No you only mention the things that Democrats are saying and so forth. But how about the things that the Republicans are trying to make us believe? Such as that Democrats are the enemy. We are not the enemy. Yet they say that over and over and I bet you believe that. Look at what Donald Trump is doing. He is sending the National Guard to places that don’t need the National Guard. Why is he doing that? He sent the national guard to Los Angeles when there were protests going on. Those protests were mostly peaceful protests. And any disruption that there was, was easily being handled by the Los Angeles police department. There was no justification for Donald Trump sending the National Guard out to Los Angeles. Then he has the National Guard police Washington DC for a few days. If the problem was so bad in Washington DC why does he not still have the National Guard there today? I can answer that. Because the problem in Washington DC did not warrant having the them out there. Donald Trump is wasting our tax dollars. This current administration is one of the least transparent administrations we have ever had. It is one of the most wasteful administrations. On top of that the people Donald Trump has put into these positions like Robert F Kennedy and Pete Hegseth are grossly underqualified. There are many valid reasons as to why the majority of people in the United States have a grave dislike up to a hatred for Donald Trump. And it’s not just in the United States it’s around the entire world. The United States has lost a lot of validity and has lost the support of many of our allies because of him. You say not to believe what the government or media tells us. You say to do your own research. Yet you call the Democratic Party Communist. That is a lie. That’s a lie that Donald Trump and the Republican Party wants you to believe. You are not taking your own advice. You are believing what you are being told. That alone invalidates your entire article.
