Let’s Not Forget About Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs
He’s already averaging 34.5 points per game through two games in the playoffs. Kawhi Leonard is the backbone of the San Antonio Spurs. In fact, Leonard has scored in double figures in 22 straight playoff contests. Talk about clutch.

Turning Up the Heat: Is Miami a Playoff Relevant Team?
As the season began to unfold and teams started to develop and progress, there was one team that never quite seemed to reach fruition. They were hampered by injury throughout much of the season prior to the All-Star Break, the Miami Heat have surged as of late, winning 19 of their last 23 games with a hefty double digit game win streak stashed right in the middle of that run. How have the Miami Heat managed to climb back into a, surprisingly interesting Eastern Conference playoff race? More importantly, once in the playoffs, do they have any shot of making any noise. The answer in short, by playing Miami Heat basketball, and they sure do. The long answers are a lot more fun though, check them out.

Will Carmelo Leave the Knicks? Where to Next?
The NBA Playoffs are underway and look as though they may live up to the hype, not missing one single exciting beat along the way. The playoffs are however missing their *usual* representative from New York. With both the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knickerbockers enduring down years, which has come to be something of the norm for these franchises. “Big time” hoops are done in the Big Apple until next season. There is a saving grace for the Brooklyn Nets, however — at least this year, they are not the team with the most dysfunction heading into next year’s preparation.

How The Most Important NBA Finals Matchup Lies Between Kevin Love and Draymond Green
The buildup for this NBA Finals is bigger than anything in recent memory. With the combination of this being the rubber match following the last two Finals, the obviously apparent disdain these two teams have for one another, and this year’s playoffs being less entertaining than the Summer League, everyone is ready the clash of the titans.

LeBron James and the End of an Era…Again
There once was a kid from Akron. His name was LeBron Raymone James. He was a very healthy kid, with a rather tough background, who would grow up to be a rather healthy man. This healthy man from little Akron, Ohio would grow to be so healthy, and superbly skilled at basketball that he would then be drafted by his home-state Cleveland Cavaliers in hopes that he would “Save the franchise”. Well, he didn’t quite do it the first time around as he would leave Cleveland in search of greener pastures and sunnier shades, and this is where he found South Beach, Miami. In Miami little LeBron “The Chosen One”, who had now flourished into King James, won several titles with his comrades in Chris Bosh and BFF Dwyane Wade. Shocking to some, he would then make his return to Cleveland, with the promise of bringing them a ring. “I’m coming home” was the theme song, as LeBron came home, and eventually led his city and franchise to a championship. After many more years of basketball bliss they all lived…………….**BACKSPIN!!

Figuring Out the Next Piece for LeBron’s Superteam
No matter who started the superteam, whether you like superteams, or you’re just tired of hearing the word superteam, it’s safe to say no team in the league can hold a candle to the Warriors’ roster. They’ve put on one of the most dominant performances in postseason history, and completely dismantled the team that ran through the Eastern Conference.

The Cincinnati Bearcats Are the Sleeper Nobody Is Talking About
Let me be 100% clear. This is a completely biased article. The first basketball team I fell in love with was the Cincinnati Bearcats. Growing up in the 513, we didn’t have a professional basketball team — the Cats’ were the next best thing.

The Unbalanced 2017 NBA Mock Draft 1.0: The Lottery
The NBA Finals are upon us! And so is the NBA Draft. For fans of the 28 teams not partaking in part III of the Finals trilogy, free agency and NBA Draft rumors are starting to heat up. Even with the basketball season coming to a close, the news, rumors and fake trade articles will only start to heat up. My sources tell me that this time of the year is when NBA websites receive the most #views.

While Teams Scramble To Get Better, The Warriors Sit Back And Laugh
If you’ve slept more than like six hours at any time since Golden State won their second title in three years, you’ve probably missed some absurd rumor or a trade no one saw coming. While we all knew the Warriors were good, we didn’t know they were this good. This offseason has already gotten off to one of the most insane starts yet, and it’s all thanks to Golden State.

Why Boston Is Better off Leaving Paul George Alone
People have been waiting for the Celtics to make a big splash at the trade deadline for years. Ever since they stole the Nets’ picks for what seems like the better part of a decade, people called it the heist of the century.

The Day that Earth Shook: What KD’s Injury Means for the League
On Tuesday evening there was a seismic event of tremendous magnitude, and of course it occurred in the Golden State. We aren’t talking earthquake here, but unless you managed to wind up under a rock in some other fashion, you know that Golden State Warrior Kevin Durant was injured Tuesday night. Not only was Golden State’s and the NBA’s most prized free agent acquisition injured and forced to leave Tuesday night’s game, the news came down on Wednesday that Durant would be out indefinitely and re-evaluated in four weeks. This is a fascinating development indeed, as it certainly makes things a bit more tricky for a Golden State squad that had plans on meeting the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals for a third straight year. The question remains though, what exactly does this injury mean for all parties involved?
