Green
I’m walking around the outside of the arena, dragging my fingers along the damp stone wall and kicking water up into the very humid nighttime air when I hit a puddle. I can feel the moisture making my hair frizz up like a halo around my head. It’ll be a mess of curls when I finally head inside.

In The Fight
My name is Vince Morales, I'm a mixed martial artist fighting and competing in the UFCs bantamweight division. Being a professional athlete was always a dream of mine. Zero clue that meant I'd be locked in a cage with some of the most savage human beings from all over the world. In retrospect these moments are insane and I'll forever be grateful where my life has taken me. In the moment, personally, I'm more focused on the task at hand. That's what I'm writing about. We may never know what really goes through each fighters mind while being in there but this is a small collection of the thoughts that fly through my own mind every split second of the fight. This was my first big UFC fight and it was taken on two weeks notice. I get the offer and I fly directly to Beijing to take on one of their hottest prospects who happens to be coming off three knockout wins. Each one of those knockouts earning him a fifty thousand dollar bonus. This is what fighting is all about. Despite the circumstances, realizing the only thing that matters is what's in front of you and you have to overcome the obstacle. Everything I ever wanted.

They're pushing this guy?
For those of you unaware of what a push is in the professional wrestling world, a push is very simply when management in professional wrestling says we're going to give you the spotlight. Now go make us some money. This is primarily done with the use of various championship belts in professional wrestling. A push is usually, but not exclusive to, wrestlers on the rise. Also a push usually results in more airtime, both on the weekly showings and pay per views. Next you could have feuds with established wrestlers, that way when you beat them you'll get more notoriety. This is just a few ways a push is done. Now, a push can sadly also be manipulated by management due to varying different reasons, but more often that not once a push is started we as fans get to decide how we're going to respond. Below I've listed 3 wrestlers that really did not deserve the crazy pushes they've gotten in their history. Just a very quick disclaimer. Although all of these men were multi time champions, I won't bother bringing up their acolytes because they should not have gotten those belts if you ask me.

A Brief History of Muay Thai
Muay Thai or Thai boxing is a martial art created as a product of the constant conflicts of the Thai people on their way from their homeland (southeast China) to present-day Thailand. Due to the constant clashes with other peoples of Indochina, there was a need for a martial art that would be learned quickly, and at the same time, was very applicable in almost constant conflicts on the borders. Initially, Thai boxing was taught as part of the so-called. "Warrior skills," which included fencing, spear handling, archery, and horseback riding, and among the oldest documents mentioning Thai boxing is a legend from 1548, about the boxing fight between the Thai King Naresuan and the Burmese King. Namely, a large Burmese army was preparing for an invasion of the Kingdom of Thailand. To avoid unnecessary casualties, the two kings arranged a boxing match. After several fighting hours, Prince Nereusan defeated the Burmese king and thus prevented the Burmese army from invading his homeland. By this act, Muay Thai has secured a place in the great heritage of Thailand's Kingdom's history.

Documentary Review: 'The Untold Story of Lennox Lewis'
As a kid, I was obsessed with boxing. Getting home from school, for a time, meant watching old fight footage on ESPN which used to fill afternoon programming with half hour documentaries on classic fights like the 'Thrilla in Manilla' or the classics of Rocky Marciano on grainy black and white film. Yes, I was also a bandwagon Mike Tyson fan. I was 12 years old when I saw Tyson and I was hooked on his persona and power immediately.

When the name "boycott" rings a bell, it quickly strikes a chord that there are substances or individuals who are restricted for some explanation from certain advantages or administrations or full acknowledgment or contact with them in any structure or who are disconnected from the remainder of society.

The 155-pound weight division in the UFC has been described as a murderers' row, and there is no better way to put it. Today we are going to take an in-depth look at the top of the mountain though, where it is pretty cloudy at the moment.
