What It Means - An eddy is a current of water or air running contrary to the main current, especially as a whirlpool. In figurative use, eddy may also refer to a contrary or circular current of thought or policy. // The strong gusts whipped up eddies of fallen leaves. // They were caught up in the eddies of chaos.

Update On National Novel Writing Month
So what can I say, except that I have done this before and it doesn't scare me anymore. There is some excitement/fear, well, maybe a lot, but I care about getting it done now. Yesterday, I didn't quite meet my goal but I created a table of contents, wrote all the titles in, and edited some - sigh!

She Was Born My Cousin And Became My Sister In Life
Yesterday I was at a memorial for my cousin, who died during the pandemic, four years ago. She was being treated for lupus when her non-Hodgkins lymphoma had returned, without treatment. She died from the cancer.
