Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter - Bop or Flop?
ALBUM OF THE YEAR. LYRICAL. ADDICTIVE. Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter is definitely high on the list for songs I cannot turn off. Each and every song off this album is just *chef's kiss*. So good. So, so good. You'd want to crank up the stereo volume and dance down the street to most songs on this album... shed a little tear for a couple others. No matter what, you will not be turning this album off once you press play (As long as you're 18+... because the songs and it's lyrics are definitely not kid friendly at all. This album was in true Former Disney Star fashion, I must say).

The Greatest
Introduction People often ask me what my favourite thing is, be it film, album or song, and usually I say I just like what I like. I do have a favourite film and album and have documented them in Vocal stories which I have included in the conclusion of this playlist.

Captain Lockheed And The Starfighters
Introduction Although I have always said that the most important thing for me is the music, my reawakened love for vinyl has made me fall in love with some of the more excellently presented albums, and I remember loving the embossed cover of this album as well as a lot of the songs.

The Record Shop ritual. Top Story - August 2024.
From The Smiths to WH Smiths, that was the ritual. Almost every Saturday, more often in the holidays. Shuffling from shop to shop, flicking through the racks. Whatβs new and exciting? Whatβs old but influential? What did I read about this one?

A Harvest Playlist
Introduction I recently joined this Facebook group because they were posting a lot of music that I love and still play, and also made me revisit some stuff as well. They are a wonderful bunch of people and all correspondence is interesting, fun and supportive

Benefits Of The Availability Of Digital Music
Introduction This has been partly influenced by Julian Cope's "Copendium" that I am reading at the moment and it is introducing me to a lot of music that I was unaware of, having said that I completely missed AC/DC although I sang several of their songs when I played with Spoon and The Abominable Showmen. You can see me here much fatter singing "Wuthering Heights" (Kate Bush) and Highway To Hell (AC/DC)
