Jimmy Kimmel's Return
The world of late-night television rarely experiences genuine suspense, but for a few days in [Month, Year], the question on everyone's mind was: "Is Jimmy Kimmel back on the air?" James Van Der Beek
For a generation, the name James Van Der Beek is inextricably linked with one character: Dawson Leery from the iconic teen drama Dawson's Creek. His face, filled with earnest ambition and teenage angst, became a defining image of late-90s television. But to reduce his career to that single role is to miss the fascinating journey of an actor who has consciously and creatively navigated the challenging path from teen idol to respected character actor.

Jimmy Kimmel Is Back!
I am so glad ABC has reversed its decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel's late night show. I understand that it was probably more of a business decision for them because in less than a week after Kimmel's suspension, ABC/Disney lost billions of dollars in stock sell-off (I sold my DIS shares right away) and Disney+ and Hulu subscription cancellations. It truly became a movement, and the very obvious loss of business must have outweighed the benefits of the potential merger approval by FCC.

Reform UK, Nigel Farage, and the Battle Over ILR
In the turbulent landscape of British politics, few figures are as influential or divisive as Nigel Farage. As the honorary president and driving force behind Reform UK, he has once again thrust immigration to the forefront of the national conversation. A key point of contention in this debate is the future of policies like Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), a status that Reform UK has pledged to overhaul as part of its core platform. For migrants and political observers alike, understanding this proposed shift is critical.

Welcome to Night Vale: A Love Letter to Community Radio and Cosmic Horror
There's something magical about stumbling onto the perfect piece of media at exactly the right moment in your life. For me, that happened in college when my friend Liz introduced me to a little podcast called Welcome to Night Vale. What started as a curious listen became an obsession that has lasted years, spanning not just the original podcast but an entire universe of novels that have only deepened my appreciation for this wonderfully weird corner of fiction.

The Rise of the Everyday Geek
M Mehran There’s a moment in everyone’s life when they feel out of place. Maybe it’s sitting alone at lunch with a book nobody else cares about. Maybe it’s getting laughed at for talking too much about dinosaurs, space travel, or video games. For geeks, that moment isn’t just once—it’s a pattern.

The Architects of Tomorrow
M Mehran For as long as humanity has existed, there have been people who saw the world differently. They weren’t always the strongest, the loudest, or the most popular—but they were the curious ones, the question-askers, the dreamers who couldn’t rest until they figured out how something worked. Today, we call them geeks.

The Quiet Power of Geeks
M Mehran The word geek used to be a label whispered in hallways, tossed like an insult across classrooms, and scribbled in notebooks beside doodles of glasses and calculators. But somewhere along the way, the world shifted. What was once a word meant to exclude has become a badge of honor, a quiet declaration of passion, curiosity, and a refusal to apologize for loving what others might not understand.
