Explaining My Thoughts and Concerns for the Upcoming 51st Season of "Saturday Night Live"
I've known about Saturday Night Live since I was a kid, and it wasn't until my early teens that I started watching on NBC. By then, the known core group wasn't there anymore. People like Adam Sandler, David Spade, and Chris Rock were out of there and doing other things. On a sad note, SNL legends like Chris Farley and Phil Hartman left this world; the latter in the near end of 1997 and the former just five months later.

The Karens Are Coming, The Karens Are Coming
My, oh, my! The following story isn't a surprise to many people. During the 2020 global pandemic, a group of women who harass and falsely accuse others of doing mundane or ordinary things were known as Karens. Fast forward to now, a recent incident at a baseball game and a woman at the center of it is now a Halloween costume. Spirit Halloween is selling it at their stores. It includes a Phillies Jersey, stolen baseball, and bad attitude. Not included: an apology, as it was stated on the package. When you become the butt of all jokes and go viral, chances are a Halloween costume will be made and sold to thousands, even millions of people. Many of you already know the story about the woman I'm about to discuss, but just in case you haven't, here it is.

Simpsons Review: "Who Shot Mr. Burns?"
Doesn't seem like it's been 30 years, hasn't it? I remember this like it was yesterday. So the episode starts off... somewhat innocently. The class hamster, named Superdude, sadly passes on. Groundskeeper Willie buries the hamster, while venting about his father's burial, but all of a sudden, Willie inadvertently digs up some gold. Black gold. Texas tea.

Luigi Mangione
Luigi Mangione: The Enduring Fascination with a Shadowy Figure In the vast landscape of organized crime history, certain names resonate with a particular, almost mythical, infamy. One such name is Luigi Mangione. While not as universally recognized as Al Capone or John Gotti, Mangione's story is a compelling chapter in the annals of American crime, a tale that continues to spark curiosity and occasional Luigi Mangione news cycles decades later.

Six 100-Word Movie Reviews
The Roses (2025) Director: Jay Roach I am always up for a comedy. While The Roses is comical, it presents the usual story of a bickering couple who are competing for rank. I was hoping for something different. Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch make an excellent duo. They bring more to their characters from the script. Colman is pretty sassy at times. The constant arguing is the main issue. Their arguing bogs down the film, becoming tiring. I wanted Jay Roach to explore the changing dynamic of the meanspirited nature. Even the supporting characters don’t save the film, like Kate McKinnon, who tosses in awkward comedy.

So I watched The Paper
"The Paper" Rating: 7.5/10 A New Chapter in Familiar Territory "The Paper" is a spinoff of "The Office" and follows a faltering Toledo newspaper whose staff is desperate to turn the tide. After nearly a decade since The Office finale, Greg Daniels and Michael Koman have returned to the mockumentary well with ambitious results. While the show doesn't quite capture the lightning-in-a-bottle magic of its predecessor, it eventually finds its footing as something worthwhile in its own right.
