Ranking the Movies of 2018: Week 12
Another week, and another reckoning with nostalgia via the work of Steven Speilberg. In week ten of this rankings column, I wrote about Indiana Jones and how my feelings about the film have evolved over the years. I still love Indiana Jones, but not in the reverent way I did when I was a child. Ready Player One revived this debate in my mind over how our culture_specifically Hollywood—recycles our memories into nostalgia and markets them back to us.

10 Fun Facts About 'Die Hard!'. Top Story - March 2018.
I watch a lot of action movies. I love them. But I don't think any action movie can possibly top Die Hard. It's an awesome movie with great action, awesome characters, and a great story and villain.

Ranking the Movies of 2018: Week 10
On the latest Everyone’s a Critic Movie Podcast myself and co-hosts Bob Zerull and Josh Adams tackled nostalgia. We were discussing this week’s classic, Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark, one of mine and Josh’s favorite movies. Watching Indiana Jones raises so many emotions for me but the main one is nostalgia and nostalgia is kind of funny. When you come to associate something with a time in your life, happy or sad, nostalgia tends to gloss over portions of actual history.

This is how I would personally rank the Disney Pixar Villains: 10. Mor'du from 'Brave' We usually like to think that bears are sweet and cuddly; however, Mor'du states otherwise. He is much larger than any bear we have encountered. His anger led him to be evil and has a larger history behind him. He is top ten because of his size and is unable to control himself.

Ranking the Movies of 2018: Week 2
It’s week two of my ranking the movies of 2018 and so far, not much has stood out in terms of themes. I have seen 13 movies so far in 2018 with three classics, only one that wasn’t a disappointment, and ten new movies—three of which I have recommended but only one I have raved about and could remain near the top of this list for a few months. This week did bring one movie I am sure not to forget for the rest of this year, though not for a good reason.
