Did you know about mirrors?
In ancient Greece, "magic" mirrors were used by the witches of Thessaly in the 3rd century BC. These priestesses wrote their predictions in blood. Mirrors were also used by specularii, an order of priests from classical Rome who claimed to be able to see the past, present and future in these objects.

paranormal, spirituality and religion
At first when I started my journey with the paranormal I didn't consider paranormal the same thing as spirituality. Now that I looked into it I changed my mind. Spiritual is defined as relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things. With paranormal you are dealing with spirits and things that don't have to deal with the physical realm. There are some things that have to do with the paranormal that are physical like cryptids. I think that what had made me not want to consider paranormal as spiritual is that when we talk about spirituality we think more of religion. Also with paranormal people can believe in it without believing in spirits and religious stuff. People can just believe in ghosts (different than spirits) or cryptids. Spirits and religious things are only part of the paranormal world.

A Mormon and Her Tarot
My first memory of tarot cards was a hushed secret I shared with my mom, Donna. The deck was tiny, what I now know is referred to as a mini-deck, but it was exactly the right size for my spider leg-thin 13-year-old fingers. I'm sure (almost) that she bought them in a novelty pack at Barnes and Noble during one of our every-other-weekend, divorced-kid outings.

A Tribute To Tomi
At the young age of 7 my grandmother Classie told me that I had a spiritual gift. She told me that I would be able to see, talk to, and hear from the ancestors that have gone on. She told me to not be afraid, only good spirits would come to me and to listen to what they were trying to convey.
