This World is Whack, But You Don't Have to Be
So far the year 2020 has proven to be a year of uncertainty In this time of uncertainty (I laugh out rather loudly. How many times have you heard that phrase lately?), it's easy to get caught up or lost in the sauce for which no one is sharing a good recipe. And with too many cooks and confusing directions, what a messy kitchen we've been left to clean up. The country is divided on the left and right; blatant racism seems to be the order of the day; police brutality followed by protests; there have been riots and looting in the streets, and not to mention the Corona pandemic and its whole set of issues. The country is running amuck, it appears, and here you are, feeling stuck and not knowing what the hell to do about it.

The emulation that lead to exploration
The world is waiting for a change. The hunger right now for change is everywhere more like than we ever imagine in history. The change start when you decide you going to work hard, it does matter who you are, you can do it to help make this change possible today and forever. In addition, do not be afraid to ask for the help when you need it, because we often forget that we need each other because of our pride. After all we all are searching for the same satisfaction in life. It does not matter if you black, white yellow do not matter your color. We want to be heard, accept, have shelter, and meet our basics needs. We may see the way to fulfill these needs differently, but at the end we are looking for the same result.

Growing up, you dream about what your life will be like. You think about the job you will have, the house you will live in, the person you will marry and spend the rest of your life with. Well, here's a story of three man who have dreamed those exact dreams and are living the lives they have always wanted. There's just one small, tiny little catch. There's someone lurking in the corner of their dreams that they hadn't noticed before. Someone who doesn't want these three men to be the success they are. Mean and evil, he will stop at nothing to make sure the dreams of these three men, die.

Are You Ready for Change?
All around the globe we are all going through change yet again. Earlier in the year we all had to face tremendous change with lockdown and now as many of us are slowly coming out of lockdown, we face another transition of trying to live a new way of living, still respecting the safety measures in place, but also trying to bring back some kind of normality to our life again.

Turn your Aesthetic Daydream into a Reality
In trying times like these where sometimes it feels like we can’t see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, its easy to fall into a drought. We can all agree that this isn’t the most ideal situation: Working from home, studying from home, waking up and remaining in the same spot for what seems like forever. I get you, it’s not easy.

We All Need A Spoonful Of Sugar
Confidence is an extremely under estimated word. Gaining the power of confidence is one of the most difficult things imaginable. Taking from personal experiences, vulnerability and the lack of self love is something people love to take advantage of. Now, close your eyes and think with me, when was the last time you truly felt confident with every inch of your body. Take a deep breath. Imperfections are what makes us human. When you look at any part of nature, imperfections are what makes them beautiful. Each grain of sand, piece of grass, leaf on the trees and each person in this world are different. For some people, feeling confident might be something that comes at ease, they look at themselves in the mirror and love what they see. For most people, achieving self-love is something extremely difficult and that is okay. I am not going to sugar coat anything, loving every inch of yourself can be close to impossible. You might like your face one day but oh there's that one little pimple that no one else can see except for me but I'll still think about it constantly throughout the day. Throughout our life our confidence decreases. Why does this happen? Is it because of the societal standards that are shown to us at such a young age. Is it social media and the unrealistic expectations of the "perfect body". Or, is it just simply because of the constant comparison of other people. You might be thinking, how do I just erase all of this from my life? Well, I'm here to give you the breakdown of how to start. Let me just acknowledge one crucial piece of information, wanting to have a great body or perfect skin can be perfectly achievable. I'm here to show you how to love yourself before and after you attain these goals. Step one: UNFOLLOW UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat all have influencers who are setting expectations for your appearance which are in most cases unattainable without harming your body. I suggest to unfollow all of the influencers who encourage either this behaviour or who publicize these unrealistic images. I am in no way saying that these people are doing something wrong on purpose, for your own health it would be better to follow people who give you hope and make you feel actually good about your skills and appearance. Follow any motivational speakers, body positive influencers or people you share the same opinions with. This will improve your mental state greatly. Step Two: DO THINGS THAT YOU ENJOY. Studies have proven that if you start focusing on doing at least one or two things each day that you truly enjoy it will improve your positivity and mental state extremely. There are multiple advantages to doing this. One, you'll feel energized and excited to wake up each morning to do things that YOU enjoy. Secondly, you won't be focused so much on comparing yourself to how other people are doing because you'll be busy and happy with your experiences and achievements right now. On my page you can find a journaling template to experience every day doing something that you love.

LIFE IS A BATTLEFIELD
“Don’t you know life is like any military campaign? One must serve on watch, another in reconnaissance, another in the front line… So it is for us - each person’s life is a kind of battle, and a long and varied one too. You must keep watch like a soldier and do everything commanded… You have been stationed in a key post, not some lowly place, and not for a short time but for life.” - Epictetus, DISCOURSES, 3.24.31-36

A TRAINED MIND IS BETTER THAN ANY SCRIPT
“In this way, you must understand how laughable it is to say, ‘Tell me what to do!’ What advice could I possibly give? No, a far better request is, ‘Train my mind to adapt to any circumstance.’ … In this way, if circumstances take you off script… You won’t be desperate for a new prompting.” - Epictetus, DISCOURSES, 2.2.20b-1;24b-25a
