Best Body Fat Scale Buying Guide Review
In this modern era, people have become more health conscious. You will find more people going to a local gym to exercise properly and to shed excess body weight. On the other hand, there are also some who follow a strict diet in order to lead a healthy life.

How to Be Big
How to be big in a world that isn’t? It’s a question I’m still struggling to answer. Every day I’m trying to convince myself that I belong here with the other half, the thin one. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not pissed off at the world or anything like that. Not my style. I’m just super uncomfortable with the shape I have. I get the whole movement to feel at peace with yourself in any type of body, it’s so fresh and very 21st century, but I still can’t feel that way. What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I see the beautiful woman everybody’s talking about? The one that I basically don’t see in the mirror?

Ways Your Weight Can Affect Your Sleep Quality
Predominantly, the amount of work you do during the day tends to make you too tired to exercise after your office hours are done. Furthermore, instead of cooking your own meal, you rely on takeout food and various junk food that will only make you gain weight. It's not too bad if you skip the gym and a healthy meal a few times a month, but if it were to become an everyday routine, this will not be good for your health in the long run. From snoring to sleep apnea, obesity can seriously jeopardize your sleep and your overall health.

Justifying My Weight Gain
Then, at the age of 18, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. As time went by and my health gradually got worse, the inability to exercise regularly and the effects of being on multiple different medications caught up to me. Which then ultimately left me bloated and over fifty pounds heavier in less than a year. Though I’m 23 now, I haven’t had much luck in getting the body back that I had before I got sick. Today, when I meet people who I may have known back when I was thinner, I feel the need to explain why I’ve gained so much weight. Anytime I see family members or friends I haven’t been around in a while, the drastic change in how I look adds a layer of awkwardness. And most of the time this topic isn’t possible to avoid. Whether it’s brought up by them, someone else, or I feel the need to bring it up myself, my weight gain is often a subject that I can’t seem to get around.

Thoughts on Struggling to Love Yourself in January
As a woman who has struggled with body image issues for years, January tends to be a difficult time. It feels like every advert you see is for some weight loss diet or new "get fit quick" app, and it’s harder than ever to look at your body and feel acceptance.

What Is Chi?
Chi is the life force that permeates every living thing on this planet. Chi saturates everything, just like the Force in Star Wars. Prana is another Sanskrit term for this life force. When you practice yoga, you are moving the energy in your body to an end, such as holding the pose. If you stop breathing or breath in an off way, you lose the pose and fall over. Yoga is a discipline that helps you still your thoughts like water in a pond. One minute the water is chaotic, the next minute the water has found a way to stop rippling.

To Improvise; To Do or Allow the Unexpected
Contact improvisation, these are two words that make me feel very apprehensive. Contact Improvisation is a partnering dance form that was founded by Steve Paxton in 1972. The practice is based on a physical conversation between two or more bodies, exploring the principles of momentum, weight and touch. Applying techniques such as:

The Intersection of Veganism and Fatness
Lately, I’ve been feeling the pressure of existing as a fat, body positive person and a vegan. Food consumption is not the only element of veganism, but it is a major part of it. Discussions surrounding what you put in your body are always policed when fat, which is a societal habit that more and more are speaking up against. Yet, by running a platform where I focus largely on food, in some ways I feel that I've contributed to diet culture, which is insanely toxic and not my goal. In this article, I hope to discuss the impact of diet culture, why and how my veganism is striving to not contribute to it, and why weight loss should not be associated with veganism.
