Why I moved far away from home (The Journey Alone)
Have you ever heard this quote? The grass is always greener on the other side... Speaking in metaphor for a moment, My journey starts with how I compared my life to others quite often, always looking over the fence. Not out of lusting the materialistic things others possessed. But...I did it because their grass was greener than mine, so, how did they get their grass that green from just watering? It was trying to understand how they watered their grass.

Do You Deserve?
Head spinning and thoughts exploding, life feels like it is going nowhere in this moment that I’m experiencing. Feelings of failure come crashing down, making my eyes begin to close and tears begin to flow. Shame creeps in, saying, “Who am I to succeed?” Feeling not worthy of much, still I push my luck and again I end up in the same spot.

Chasing the Impossible.
One of the many things I have noticed about people is our endless pursuit of what is impossible to obtain. Be it a relationship, wealth, a dream; we all chase what is slim to none. Despite the probability of what we want unlikely happening, we all chase it no matter the reality. It is as though we have a ceaseless obsession with a desire that cannot be quenched unless we finally obtain it.

The Value of Virtue
Virtue is like humility in that once you brag about having it, you’ve lost it. It does’t manifest itself in us by an act of magick or an overt declaration that we are paragons of purity and good intent. It is the expression of the inner soul, of our true humanity, not the dumbwitted control of any outside force. It, rather, creeps in quietly and unawares when we strive to do what is right and good despite our many flaws and failures along the way. It is the Lionheart that eclipses our inner mewling, not when we are faced with moments of decisiveness - when we are forced to choose the right hand or the left - but when we sit in a heap to wipe the blood, the sweat and the many tears of having accomplished something greater than ourselves; greater than our inmost fears; deeper than our misgivings and mistakes that may be strewn along the path behind us.

Present
Because I choose to make yesterday, today, and tomorrow a new day to be the star in my own movie! What better way to live the rest of my entire existence being and doing what make me feel good. I do come and go as I please and experience great gratitude while doing it.

Inspired by Monotony
Tik. Tok. Tik. Tok. Tik. Tok. I’m staring at the white walls of my bedroom, trying to transport myself to anywhere else I’ve ever been in order to find that spark. That click. The burst of inspiration that hits and takes my hands to places I didn’t even know existed with the steady movement of my black ballpoint pen. The clock is the only thing marking my progress. Invisible progress, that is, because lately I feel like I haven’t been producing anything at all. So I stare at my wall, expecting a bolt of lightning to find its way from God’s finger to my brain, but nothing comes. I realize that it can’t always float into my mind like a cloud on a sunny day, and it isn’t always as simple as a spark. Sometimes the inspiration is a tear, sometimes it’s a laugh. Sometimes it is so obvious, and today is clearly not one of those days.

Effective Time Management for University Students
TIME... the only thing us 'humans' can never get back. As for the quote above, how relevant is a quote from the 18th Century to us 21st Century students? How many times have you told yourself "Yeah its only 1000 words, I'll do it tomorrow", yes well thanks Benny Franklin, thank-you for telling us we can do it today and do whatever we want tomorrow! I'm going to be telling you how you can turn 'tomorrow' into 'TODAY' whilst still being able to go to work and earn some cash, as well as swiping left and right while being the last man (or woman) standing in Fortnight (or whatever game you're into).. ALL AT THE SAME TIME! This is of course called 'Effective Time Management' if you were wondering, not 'multi-tasking on Tinder and Video Games at the same time whilst at work'.
