'Searching' Is a Well-Directed Crime Thriller Complete with Suspense and Twists
I've recently been writing my reviews using my made-up WASDO criteria in a vain attempt to give my film reviews some structure. But I've decided to stop doing that and just write this review from Searching off the top of my head.

Terrible Fashion Trends Everyone Thought Looked Good in the 2000s
When the Y2K bug failed to wipe out technology on the eve of January 1st, 2000, humanity was ushered into a glorious new era. Marked by the rise of the Disney Channel, the prominence of boy bands, and the groundbreaking invention of the selfie, the decade that ushered in the 21st century was truly a golden hour for mankind. When Millennials gaze back on their childhood days, their throwbacks are filled with sunny memories of Tamagotchis and Easy Bake Ovens.

5 Reasons I Studied an Art Foundation
So exactly a year ago tomorrow I moved 190 miles away from home to Leeds to study an art foundation degree at Leeds Arts university. I hadn't even considered a foundation and barely knew what it was about around a year and a half ago; so I'm writing this to inform and maybe even help others with their decisions if thinking about entering the creative industry.

Liverpool off to Record Start!
After wins against West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Leicester City, Liverpool are actually off to the best start they've ever had to a Premier League season, much to the shock to many football fans around the world. The 2018/2019 season got off to a flyer for Liverpool, with a 4-0 routing of West Ham, before being followed with a 2-0 away win at Selhurst Park. A 1-0 win at home against Brighton, thanks to a Mohammed Salah goal, proceeded the record-securing game, a 2-1 win against Leicester City.

How to Make Homemade Amaretto
Amaretto is a classic Italian dessert liqueur that tastes phenomenally good when mixed with coffee or just on its own. Its deliciously nutty-spicy taste makes it a favorite for chocolate pairings, not to mention delicious dessert cocktails, too.

Advice About Joining the Military
A couple days ago I had a cousin that I don’t often talk to reach out to me on Facebook. After pleasantries she got to the real reason she sparked our conversation asked me if I could do her a favor. Her boyfriend has been thinking about joining the Navy as a Nuke Engineer; he wanted an opinion that didn’t come from a recruiter's mouth. That was something I could sympathize with, as someone who made the mistake of going in blind as a bat and trusting my recruiters' words like they were gold. I ended up in and out of the most exhausting, confusing, dangerous, and life changing four years of my life, and I wish I had twenty more to give.

10 Reasons Why Your Photoshoots Don't Look Good
Have there been days that you've seamlessly snapped one good selfie after another, after another, after another, and thought, "Damn! I should be a model!" Surely a good lot of you have been curious about the world of modeling. How could you not be, too? Getting paid to be really, really, really ridiculously good looking and going to lavish parties or exotic places just for the views sounds like a life I'd try out if I had eight-pack abs. For the common folk though, myself included, there's a lot of intricacies to being a successful model that we don't understand. I can barely look natural for the annual Christmas card, and these people are doing it for a living? There would be plenty of reasons why my photoshoots don't look good, and I'm sure if you scheduled one with a professional photographer or your hobbyist friend, you'd find that it's not as easy as it looks. Not everyone knows how to do a photo shoot from start to finish, but with these tips, at least you'll have a fighting chance.

Six Stories My Mother Gave Me
I have always loved books, and I give my wonderful mother full credit for encouraging and indulging that love when I was growing up. She started by reading to me, and when I was older we'd stand in front of our copious library and she'd pull her favourites from the shelf and pile them up in my arms for me to read in my own time. She never patronised me by fobbing me off with teen lit (I could find that for myself at school), and I really love her for that. We still talk and discuss and disagree about books today! These are some of the stories she either read to me or gave to me thinking that I might find them interesting.

Aliens More Likely Small Than Big
The most visual way to depict the first alien contact is a ship with blinding light descending from the sky or crashing to Earth, followed by sizable beings making an appearance. Usually, these aliens are somewhat comparable in size to humans. The way I see it, the first alien contact is likely to be with much smaller extraterrestrials, whether it's by chance or on purpose.

How to Invest in Fine Art as Shares
Most of us don't think of buying art as long term investment options and strategies. More often than not, any paintings or sculptures that decorate our walls and rooms were purchased at a big box retailer like Target. These mass-produced pieces of art are inexpensive and will pretty much never increase in value.

How To Properly Hold Every Type of Drink
Some people have their go-to drink of choice, always ordering a glass of cabernet or a pint of Guinness no matter where they go. Others prefer to see the happy hour specials, just in case they can get a particular red wine for a bargain. At a large, catered party, it may not be your decision if the festivities are meant to include a cocktail hour or a champagne toast. Whether you find the notion daunting or exciting, encountering new and unfamiliar drinks and drink ware is something just about everyone experiences from time to time. If you want to make sure you don't commit any social blunders and follow good bar etiquette, it's important to understand how to properly hold every type of drink. This guide will help you get your hands on everything from beer and wine to fancy cocktails and spirits.

7 Makeup Products that Broke the Internet
The first thing I think of when I think viral makeup is the infamous Kylie Lip Kit. Kylie Jenner launched her beauty brand on November 30, 2015, with the $29 lip kits (pairs of matte liquid lipsticks matched with a lip liner in nude, pink and brown) selling out immediately at Kylie Cosmetics. The internet couldn't get enough, with the lip kits quickly becoming the must-have lip product of the year. Since then, Kylie has expanded her brand to a whole range of products and collections, launching collaborations with Khloe and Kris as well as birthday, Christmas, Valentine's, and holiday collections. Whilst these have also sold at record rates, it can't be denied that the lip kit was the viral trend that started it all.
